“ Hey my name is Veronica, I’m a new student at De’Leon Boarding School” 2

“ Yea, I live right next door on room 304. Oh and you must be Amber, your grandfather has told me a lot about you”4

“ How do you know my grandfather and why are you here?” I asked rudely. I couldn’t help but be rude. Jason was next to me and his expression was full of lust. Even quiet Lex who couldn’t give a shit about girls was gawking at her. I could understand Trevor, but Lex? Carl was looking at her also with a look I couldn’t identify. He was too far I guessed it was lust. Which I didn’t expected since he’s gay.5

“ Well your grandfather and mine are very good friends. I was looking for a good boarding school, your grandfather offered and I accepted” 6

She took another step into the room and that’s when I noticed her outfit. She was wearing a miniskirt with a V neck shirt that revealed… a lot. In her right arm she held a purse7

“ So you want to hang out,” she asked. “ You could show me around the school” Of course not you bitch, why would I want to hang out with a slut like you.10

“ Sure” I said and gave her a fake smile. I waited for Trevor to volunteer, but her beauty paralyzed him, literally. So I got up from Jason’s bed and went to show her around. But I swear that when I closed the door I heard Jason say 11

“ Oh” I said. Drake and Derrick were Jason’s friends. The others I didn’t know. Veronica opened her purse, took out a clip, and clipped it to her hair. Clips were out of style these days but when she put it one it looked like it was and it thing. She adjusted it before asking me.19

“ There’s Trevor, he can be a jackass now and then but he’s honest which is good because I hate liars. He has his own sense of humor, which I love too.” 21

“ Well Lex is really smart, actually he isn’t smart he’s a guineas. I’m an idiot compared to him. In math when there’s a hard problem on the board instead of quitting like others he thinks more differently. So many teachers love him for that.”25

“ Oh that’s Carl. Carl is gay. Many people think he’s a weirdo because of it. That gets me mad, I mean cant you just back off. If he doesn’t want to be straight that’s not your problem. There was once a male teacher who never got close to Carl because of it. It was so not funny”29

“How about your boyfriend” She asked with more interest. I decided to ignore that action and answer her question. 30

Jason is an athlete. He loves sports, but now he’s losing his confidence” I said with disappointment. “He thinks he’s a weakling because supposedly this new kid is beating him at everything.”31

“ You mean Jason is not good at sports” 32

“ No! I mean that… you know what forget it. The point is that Jason is good at sports and just because there is someone out there better than him doesn’t mean he should let his self-esteem go down”33

“ Oh ok” she seem satisfied with that. But I was still confused as to why she twisted my words. Then she stopped on her tracks. I gave her a questioning look in which she answered with a smirk. Something was wrong, something inside me told me I shouldn’t have given her any of the information I just did.34
