Riley Young thought she was a normal girl. Well a normal tomboy. She didn’t care what the trendy cloths were, if her hair looked good, who liked her, who thought what of her, or much else. Always laid back, Riley doesn’t care what people think. She doesn’t really care about much and goes with what everyone else wants to do. 1

She has a lot of friends, mostly guys but no one person she called her best friend. She nearly always had her nose in a book and got good grades, but didn’t flaunt it or even like it mentioned. She doesn’t like drawing a lot of attention to herself, but seems to attract it anyway. She’s random and crazy at times and at others she’s serious. 2

She usually spends her afternoon’s playing football (American) with her friends, or just heading home to relax. She’s liked by most people for her naturally kind nature, but is known to hold her own. She isn’t afraid to get in a fight, and her temper can sometimes be short. She demands to be respected when it comes to sexes and hates being treated differently because she is a girl. 3

Riley’s few girl friends always try to make her more girly, or go out with some guy who obviously had a crush on her. But, she is stubborn and doesn’t see why all the girls obsess over guys, to her it’s just a distraction. To her she either didn’t like being around a guy at all, or thought of them as her brother, her friend. She’d do anything for her friends, but go out with them. 4

She loves the rain and colder weather. She doesn’t like the city, or large groups of people she doesn’t know. She enjoys time with her friends, but also likes her solitude. 5

Riley thought she was an average tomboy, but what she didn’t know was that she was more special than she thought. Particularly to one person.6
