“Journal entry number one.” A Chinese scientist spoke into a tape recorder. “Dr. He Xiang, project S, trail number one… test subject one died just after the injection. No time to see any changes… Trail one is a failure.” She finished and turned off the recorder.3

“Journal entry number seven” she started into the recorder again. “Dr. He Xiang, project S, trail number seven… Test subject died a half hour after injection. No changes. Death from seizure…Trail number seven…fail.” She turned off the recorder, set it on the table and turned around her long brown hair whipped around in her face. “Why does it have to be humans...Why not rats or something?” she said after moving her hair.
“Remember that huge rally they had about animal testing in 2011...Besides they volunteered.” Her assistant answered.
“Right…Poor souls.” her green eyes filled with compassion. 5

“Journal entry number thirteen…Dr. He Xiang, Project S, Trail number thirteen…Test subject died two and a half hours after injection of cell thirteen…strength , definite increase, speed, definite increase, intelligence, decrease. Other than death no side effects. Trail number thirteen…fail.”7

“Well…we thought you were the one thirteen…” The assistant sighed. “Oh well.” He walked to the door but turned around. Number thirteen’s hand fell from underneath the tarp. He walked back and grabbed the hand to put it back but suddenly thirteen’s hand reacted and grabbed the assistant’s wrist and twisted it. Thirteen thrusted up, grabbing the assistant’s throat with his own hand. Choking, he smashed his fist across thirteen’s face and thirteen snapped his neck and threw him against the back wall, his long white lab coat fell, covering his body.9

“Journal entry number fourteen. Dr. He Xiang, Project S, Trail number fourteen. Immediate reaction to cell fourteen. Strength was phenomenal, speed, incredible, intelligence…not so much. C.O.D was suicide… never seen that before. Most likely a reaction to the cell…Trail number fourteen is a failure.” She turned off the recorder and set it down on the chemical counter.
A howl of pain and anger sounded from the hallway and Dr. He Xiang immediately turned around and took out her colt.45. She faced the hallway and just as she did the lights went out and another howl erupted from the dark hallway.
Thirteen looked straight down the hallway as seven cut the lights to the hallway. They’re vision went green and black, like looking through night vision goggles. Dr. He Xiang couldn’t see them but they could definitely see her. One cut all power just as she grabbed a flashlight. She turned around, gun cocked, safety off and turned on the flashlight.
Thirteen, seven and one were standing in front of her and two, three, four, five, six, eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve were surrounding her.
Does it need improvement?

Terrific story. Great imagination. Watch your punctuation when someone is speaking, "It would go like this," she replied.
(comma inside end quote and no capital on she if you are referencing speech ie. she replied, he said, she whispered. I'm taking the editing and proofreading course... it has helped me immensely. I have difficulty with commas *blushes
Anyway... great story! *worries about Dr. Xiang -
You misspelled trial. you put trail instead. other than that, pretty good. keep it up.
