Foreword- Chapter 21

Ami- Anyways, you'll see more about us later... Carly what are you doing?2

Carly- *grins* making jello! how long am I supposed to bake it anyways?3

Ami- You arn't.4

Carly- Ohhh.. that would explain the brown color. I made Lime. It looks like the color of the jewel with those weird powers!5

Ami- You really are just a blonde idiot arn't you?6

Kelsey- I agree. Shes stupid. I think she was dropped on the head as a baby7

Carly- *screams* where'd you come from?8

Kelsey- I've been here9

Ami- She's just quiet10

Carly- Ohhhhh.... is the jello done baking?11

"Why did you just stand there?" Kelsey questioned again15

"It was my dream guy!" Ami stated, smiling again16

"HE HAD A SWORD! HE WAS GOING TO KILL US ALL AND LEAVE OUR DEAD BLOODY BODIES FOR THE CROWS TO EAT!" Carly screamed, running in circles. Both Ami and Kelsey stared blankly at Carly before returning to the discussion at hand.17

"He wasn't going to kill us, I think he was there to protect me, and take me away to--"18

"Neverland?" questioned Kelsey sarcastically19

Eyes lighting up like diamonds, Carly gasped and ran to Kelsey, "can I go to neverland?" she asked, clearly excited by this turn of events20

"Surrreee" Kelsey said.21

Carly started to walk off, then stopped, "Kelsey? Where is neverland?"22

"The second star to the right and straight on till morning." Ami answered while Kelsey stared at carly, wondering how it was possible for a person to be that stupid.23

"Huh?" Carly asked, as the statement confused her.24

"Neverland is that way." Kelsey sighed, pointing outside, where a thunderstorm was on the edge of starting to pour25

"Yea!" Carly exclaimed heading for the door, stopping when a lighting bolt crashed nearby and took the power out.26

"Well thats great" Kelsey said, "Now some guy is going to sneak in here and kidnap us all."27

"Squishy..." Carly whined, using Kelseys hated nickname, "If you say it then its going to happen for sure!"28

Right after Carly spoke the word 'sure' there was the noise of the front door opening.29

"Carly... didnt you shut and lock the front door?"30

"Yes" she whispered31

Huddling in the hallway in the back of the house, Ami tugged on Kelseys arm, "come on, we've gotta go back to the room in the wall! Its our only chance"32

"But Ami, that guy was in there!"33

"He wont hurt us, I promise, now grab Carly and lets go!" Running quickly, the girl ran in a line through the wall and huddled in a corner34

"he's coming!" Carly cried, "we're gonna die! die, die, die, die, die!"35

"Smack her." Ami told Kelsey. Turning, Kelsey smacked the terrifed blonde in the back of the head. Quieting down, the blonde curled into a ball and rocked back and forth, whimpering.36

"Shhh!" Kesley whispered ungently, pointing to the door as the intruder came down the hall, "Hes coming.'37

"How do you know its a he?" Ami asked accusingly38

"Since when are girls normally close to seven feet tall? Now SHHH!"39

The man walked quietly down the hall, a long black cloak billowing silently behind him as he came to a stop in front of the door for a seemingly endless second. Kelsey clamped her hands over Carly's mouth, Carly clamped her hands over her eyes, Ami froze where she stood and dared not to move as she stared at the man, willing him to continue down the hallway and then leave.40

Then there was a metallic ringing noise, and the same young man from before appeared, minus the armor and bloody sword.41

"HI!" Yelled Ami, completley forgetting the danger they were in and running to attach herself to him. With a low hiss, the man outside slid into the room.42

Kelsey gasped, and Carly peeked from between her hands, only to close them and start repeating, "If I cant see him, he can't see me, If I can't see him, he can't see me."43

"NO!" snarled the man, "I got here first Soinatei! They're mine!"44

"Back off Escrov." he replied, while trying to pry Ami from his side.45

"Fine." he smiled darkly, his smile barely visible, hidden in the hood of his cloak, "I'll take these two." And in one swift movement, he turned, grabbed Carly who still thought he couldnt see her, and Kelsey, who was letting out a stream of words not generally accepted by the general public, and vanished.46

Smiling, Ami glanced up, "Hi. We're alone."47

Glaring at her, Soinatei stared incrediously, "your friends were just kidnapped! Don't you care?"48

Pausing for a brief moment, Ami looked around, "Yea- NO. I will later, wanna go out to eat and then come back here?" she finished, smiling like an idiot.49

Rolling his eyes, he sighed, "Lets get your friends back first, okay?"50

"Fine." Ami pouted, turning, Soinatei grabbed her arm, mutting something she couldnt hear, and they vanished.51

"AMI! HELLO? ANYONE HOME?" Jessica yelled from the still open front door, when no one answered, she walked in, "Come on Alec! Hurry and lock the door!"52

"Woah!" Ami yelled, "Where are we?" looking around, Ami saw nothing but vivid colors everywhere, very unlike the smog in her homestate of Georgia. There was a bright rainbow as if it had just stormed, but the ground was dry, the grass was the brightest green she had ever seen, with yellow and blue flowers creeping out, and huge trees with red roses climbing up the sides of their trunks.54

"Welcome to Rameria." Soinatei smiled, laying down in the grass55

"Sooo... what was your name again? I didnt catch it earlier."56

"My apoligies, My name is Soinatei, My parents named me that becasue in our history, I had an ancestor who was a-"57

"That too hard to remember", Ami stated, "Im going to call you Sonia!"58

"Its going to be a long day" he sighed
