Easter Sunday in an Atheist House

Have you noticed that people only say "I don't care what people think" when they think someone is saying something bad about them. You don't get the situation where a person says to another "Hey, I've heard people saying that you look fantastic in the suit" and the response being "I don't care what people think. This reaction would likely result in people considering you were rude. However, in the reverse situation where you are told "People have been saying you look awful in that suit" and the reply given is "I don't care what people think", you are suddenly perceived as being someone of high character. Admitting that you do care what people think about you is like basically saying, I'm a weak character, but the truth is we all care.1

Thank god for sending the Easter bunny to die for our sins so that we can get into the Kingdom of Heaven.
