After returning to his office, Cabana man is barking orders into the phone as he sits at his desk. Lo0opy had been rescued right out from under his nose, better than right out from under him he thinks, as he looks at her picture on his computer screen. And who was this young wench who rescued her? His brain hurt.2
Calling Sarah on the intercom he asks her to fix him a tea, he needs to relax and think things through. Sitting down his desktop and checking his perimeter alarms he calls Sarah again and asks her to bring his tea to the study, and he leaves the office.3
The long central hallway of his warehouse office/home is adorned with an eclectic mix of art. At eye level along the walls is a collection of photos showing maritime themes. There is one of Carl and he fishing on the delta on the Sacramento river, near Carls home. Carl is hoisting a good sized fish and smiling like a bandit, and he with a pan fry that wasn’t big enough for a meal. OH! How Carl had teased him that night at supper, offering him some of his fish because he " couldn’t eat it all if I tried". Carl was a good friend, and a great person to have on your side. His years in law enforcement had many times proven to be the key in a case, and his knowledge of law had kept him from stepping in too deep on more than one occasion. 4
On the walls, higher up, were pieces of driftwood in various shapes and sizes from around the world. He never went anywhere new without collecting a piece of wood or an interesting rock, An eccentricity that Carl often made jokes over. And evenly spaced between the pictures and the wood were various antique curios, from an etched photo of Christ to a pair of jack boots and A WWII helmet worn by an uncle, with a large dent in the right side from a stray bullet, everything on his wall had a story behind it. He didn’t like art for art sake.5
The hallway was exactly 40 paces from his office to the study, a number that always stuck in his head as numbers had a way of doing. When he reached the study, he stopped to admire the newly installed door. It reached 9 ft high to a curved point and was 4 inches thick and made of Scottish pine. He had swindled it out of The Anglican Minister from his home town after installing an alarm system for him at his church. The door was 300 years old , but refinished by skilled hands it looked as new as the day it was built. It was one of his most prized antiques, as it was from the church he was baptized in as a child, and held a lot of pleasant memories of Sunday morning church, surrounded by family and friends. Absentmindedly he reaches out and trails his fingers along the the finish the face of it before pushing it open with some effort. As he enters the study the secondary lights come to life, a luxury he had installed out of laziness. The sensors would shut them off 5 minutes after he left as well. 6
This room also held a desk, not as expansive as the one in his office but it was a much older and cherished. It was solid oak and finished in a light stain that brought out the grain and on the front face that visitors saw it was etched in a 3D relief picture of a fishing boat at sea, wit ha half dozen deck hands pulling in a net full of codfish. As the Captain stood at he railing above, the look on his face belying the fact that he would have been yelling orders and encouragement at the same time. This desk had been that captains and that captain had been his fathers uncle, a man he had served under for a short time when he had returned to his native land in an attempt to escape those who pursued him. He had spent a month at sea, cooking ,of all things. He had shared in the comradery of fishermen, many of whom were relatives and childhood friends. His uncle the captain had never once shown him favoritism, but always treated him fairly, even when he would take his money in a poker game. Good times, he thought, as he fell into the chair behind the desk. He thought of firing up the PC in here to go over some work, but decided there was little he could do but wait to hear from Carl and see where they went from there. Instead, he kicked his feet up on the desk, careful to remove his shoes first, and leaned back in his chair to think. Quickly he fell into sleep, and his dreams were haunted by a desk from another place and time and by a woman to which he was yet to find an equal. 7
there is a loud knock at the study door, breaking his dream. He comes awake in such a rush that he nearly topples himself out of the chair. Frustrated he barks "WHAT IS IT". The reply takes him a moment to comprehend. 8
"I have your tea sir" comes back the answer from the other side of the door. Though it is not locked, Sarah knows not to enter without permission. As his senses return to him he realizes he is sporting a large erection and scoots himself forward to his desk before telling her to enter.9
having awakened from his dream feeling rather horny and unsatisfied, his eyes travel over his assistant as she enters carrying his large stainless steel mug of tea on an old serving tray he had bought at an auction many years before. With the tea is an assortment of cookies that he has imported from his native land, he had not asked for anything other than teas and gave her a look saying " What are these for"? looking embarrassed she stammers " they just arrived by courier today and I know you like them best when fresh, and I also know you didn’t touch your dinner, so I thought...I thought I would place a few on the tray with your tea, you need to eat, even if it is sweets" . placing the tray on the large coffee table near the couch, she turns to leave10
"Wait" he orders, and comes around the the desk to stand in front of her. Looking into her blue eyes he says " stay and visit for a while, I am done my thinking for the day, and would like your company for a bit". He could see the uncertainty in her eyes and with a soft hand on the small of her back he leads he to the couch. 11
He grabs his tea and takes a large gulp, "Perfect" picking up the tray he offers her a cookie, which she takes nervously, he places the tray back on the table and grabs a few for himself before falling into his large wing backed red leather chair.12
"So any word back from Carl yet?" she asks while looking at her hands.13
" No. nothing yet, but I expect to hear from him before the night is over. Did you have any luck with the tapes. Or identifying the mystery wench?"14
" we were able to ascertain that lo0opy ate alone and was contacted by no one while dining. We got the licence plate number of the getaway car , but it came back as a rental, not many people rent classic cars so it should be easy to track it down. None of our imaging techniques proved fruitful in identifying the driver, she is new sir, very new. She doesn’t even show up on the surveillance tapes from the Wenches manor. We have video from as late as yesterday and she is not once seen in the compound. Very strange indeed for the Queen to send such a new recruit against you. I would be careful from now on, it seems the bees are swarming."15
"Don’t I know it. Carl is still trying to figure it all out as well. What the hell is she up to? And why the hell is she up to it? Anything off the phone taps? Or their computers?"16
"Nothing, on both counts..it seems they have installed the same safety protocols as you have on their computers, they are as impenetrable as your own. I will keep monitoring the phone calls for anything pertinent.17
They sat in silence for a while as he sipped his tea and nibbled at his cookies. He was frustrated at having his dream interrupted and longed for the lady in it badly. Their history went back to way before Cabana man Inc. was even thought of. She was the one woman that could satisfy him in the bedroom as well as in everyday life, which with her meant bedroom antics, and he smiled at the memory. This woman who had captured his heart and mind, meshing with him so completely that the memory of her cling to him like a fevered sweat. He felt himself growing stiff again and nonchalantly crossed his legs to hide it.18
Sarah must have sensed his pheromones because he could see her nipples standing out against the fabric of her cotton blouse, and there was a flush in her cheeks as she looked him in the eye with a small timid smile.19
He rose and walked to the window to stare out at the city and the lights of the harbor, trying to get his thoughts away from sex, the sex in his dream and the sex he wanted to have right now with her. Breathing deeply and feeling calm return to his body he turned from the window and saw that Sarah had left the study, leaving her half eaten cookie on the tray. Miffed, but also happy to be alone again he turned back to the window and sipped at his tea, thinking about all the wenches that seemed to be descending upon his town, and wondered with all his might as to where it would all lead. Catressa was the queen for a reason, her evil logic was hard to decipher and she was completely unpredictable. Sarah was right , he would have to be extra careful now, more than ever. Again his thoughts returned to the young , unknown wench from the café, and again his brain wracked in the effort to fit the pieces together. First he must find lo0opy, he hoped to get some answers from her. He also hoped to get something else. When he had finished his tea he went to the couch and sprawled out along its length and turned on the big screen TV,flicking channels until he came upon something he liked, and settled back against the softness of the leather arms and closed his eyes.As he drifted off to sleep his thoughts fell upon the woman from his dream and he hoped to return to the dream and continue what his mind had started. Tomorrow would be a busy day, in more ways than one. 20

I think I may have read one of the trailers, I am not sure but I will make sure to go back and catch up, if you will...
I love the "300 year old door", and the "collected driftwood from all over the world", now, that is true art. Your light sensors remind me of my husband who is an electrician, and the lights in my house are ridiculous...
um-back to the trailer...LOL
I just want to know one damn thing man, who the hell was on the other end of the phone while "she" was taking hold of you like "she" was? Were you on hold or something? Yes, I think that had to be the case. LOL He is having no conversation on the phone,
that is his imagination, he is too busy being sexed damnit! LOL OH SHIT! Now, why didn't I know he was dreaming???
The "Wenches Manor" I am so loving this.
My computer is tapped, and my phone...well I will be damned.
Man oh man, I must say this was a mystifying scene here. Now you have me totally intrigued, and I will have to read the trailers I've missed. This is great shit man! Just GREAT!

Ok give me a second here to compose myself.....Ok that's better. I never saw this comming! I'm surprised and completly estatic to read this. It's over the top and under it too. This one is so much deeper than the others. Not that they are bad just that this has more too it more body if you will. My mind is full of all the twists and turns where this could be going , among other things. A glimpse of his rigid control and I believe I am inspired anew! I know that things have picked up for you and you are extremely busy now so I'm doubly glad you had the chanse to post this one. Now I must be left alone with my thoughts and toys.....

Wow! Such mystery and intrique we have building here. This is becoming quite the captivating story sweetie. I am truly curious as to where it all leads and where it ends. I guess time will tell! Cabana Man has some vulnerabilities as well, which is good to see. He's not the ogre he was initially portrayed as. I really like this new twist and extra bit of mystery. You did an awesome job. I imagine this is becoming quite the task to keep up with now. More please!!
Of everything!
