Don't Answer The Door - Ch. 14

1

Alex dropped the bags onto the floor and clenched his fists in anger. He looked at Eva and noticed her body was wet, and she was passed out. Her lips were swollen from the punch. There was blood coming from a wound on her cheek, and that angered Alex even more.2

"What the hell are you doing?!" Alex screamed at Matt.3

Alex knew what Matt just did to Eva, it was obvious. He lunged at Matt with a fist that punched him in the nose. Matt began to bleed immediately from his nose. He began to push Alex off of him with his fat hands. Alex shoved Matt hard into the wall and began punching him, his muscles tense with every punch. Matt received so many punched that he slowly slid to the ground. Alex looked at him, disgusted at the image. He knew that wasn't enough. Alex kicked Matt in the crotch hard as he heard Matt scream in agony.4

"Ahh! Oh God!" Matt screamed as he finally passed out.5

Alex stood over Matt's body as his anger continued to rage. He began to kick Matt again, and didn't stop. Alex heard Eva sigh and move in the bed, and that's when he got a hold of himself. He left the bleeding Matt on the floor as he quickly went to tend to Eva.6

"Eva? Eva?!" Alex said, trying to wake her up. 7

Alex ran his hands through Eva's hair, as he stared at her pale face. Tears began to stream down his face as he saw her, so bruised, so hurt. 8

"Eva, please wake up." He said, pleading with her. His voice cracked. Alex couldn't bare to see her in such a state.9

Alex put a blanket over her body, which was still wet. He looked up and stared at an unconscious Matt, who was having a hard time breathing. He couldn't understand how someone could do such horrible, treacherous things to his own daughter, his own flesh and blood. Eva was so precious, so fragile. Alex was worried about her, what if she would never recover from such horror? He rested his head on Eva's shoulder as he cried.10

Alex's head snapped upwards when he heard a rustling sound. He looked up and saw Matt waking up. Alex stood up and went to Matt, kicking him again. He picked him up and held his hands tightly behind his back, so he wouldn't go anywhere.11

"You woke up to early you son of a bitch. I'm going to make you pay for what you did to Eva. You're going to pay!" Alex screamed into Matt's ear as he pushed him out of the bedroom. 12

Alex stood with Matt at the top of the staircase. He had the idea of pushing Matt down the stairs. Alex began to laugh, and it began to terrify Matt.13

"No, No! Don't do it!" Matt pleaded with Alex.14

"Aww, c'mon Matt. It's the least I could do, for raping the woman I'm falling for." Alex said, as he shoved Matt down the stairs. 15

Matt's fat, naked body tumbled down the stairs, making a lot of noise. It bumped into the wall and into the railing as it finally landed at the bottom. Alex looked at what he had just done, his eyes opened wide as he looked on. He ran down the stairs, taking them two at a time. When he reached the bottom he saw to his horror that Matt was bleeding from his head. 16

Alex placed his hands around Matt's head as he looked over the wound. He laughed and let go, letting Matt's head hit the floor really hard. 17

"Naw, you're not dead, you're not dead yet you bitch." Alex said to Matt, although Matt couldn't hear him. 18

Alex stood over Matt's body and just stared. His hands began to tremble as he realized he just went against his morals. He was always against violence, and he couldn't stand to look at Matt anymore. It was a reminder of what he just did. Alex suddenly looked up and ran up the flight of stairs as he heard Eva screaming.19

"Get off me! Leave me alone!! Don't do this!" Eva was screaming.20

Alex had expected to see someone in the bedroom, someone he had feared to be there, but there was no one. Only Eva was in the bedroom, alone in the bed. She was thrashing around as she screamed. Her legs and arms flailing about as she begged and pleaded for no one to hurt her. Alex ran up to Eva and put his arms on her shoulders, pinning her down. 21

"Eva! Eva,  you're having a nightmare, wake up!" Alex screamed, wanting to take her out of the pain and horror she is living in her mind.22

Eva's eyes snapped open as she still continued to scream. 23

"Get off me! Don't hurt me!" She screamed, her eyes blood shot from crying done earlier. 24

Eva began to punch and push Alex away as she yelled and jumped out of bed. She was standing there naked, screaming loud. Alex was pushed away from her momentarily. He watched her take the night stand and throw it out the window. It broke the glass, shards of it flying everywhere. Eva ran to the big whole in the wall, where the window used to be. The morning sun was sailing across the sky, meeting the afternoon. The rays of sun hit Eva's eyes, as she screamed and put her hands over her eyes. Alex had never seen her in such a state. He hadn't seen anyone acting in such a way, only in films when the actor was... Alex couldn't continue the thought, but it completed against his own will... when the actor was insane. Eva wasn't insane, Alex assured himself, she was just horrified. 25

He watched as Eva ran to the window, as she jumped out of the window.26

"Eva!!!" Alex screamed as he leaped to Eva. 27

Alex grabbed Eva's foot, holding onto it tightly, not letting go. He would be her murder if he were to let go. Eva continued to scream as she was hanging outside of the window, thrashing around. 28

"Eva! Please stop moving! Let me help you back up here! Please!" Alex said as he began sobbing. 29

Suddenly, Alex heard nothing. Alex felt no struggle as he held tightly to Eva's foot. He looked out and saw her hanging out of the window, suspended in the air by her foot. Her arms were dangling below her, her head was slumped over to the side. 30

"Oh God!" Alex screamed, as he grew worried at what might have happened to Eva.31

Alex held tightly to Eva's foot, as he tried pulling her up with all his might. His hands were now around her leg, as he brought in her other leg and pulled on them. He began pulling harder. Eva's lower body was now in the window, and Alex felt relieved somewhat. He let go momentarily to grab onto her shoulders, but she slipped out again. 32

"AH!" Alex screamed, as Eva's leg kicked him in the face. 33

Alex tried to ignore the shooting pain running around his head as he grabbed onto Eva, grabbed onto her life.34

"Eva, why, oh why did you want to jump?!" He asked, although he knew Eva wouldn't answer him. 35

Alex understood why she would jump. She had just been raped, by her own father. It would have been horrible to go through such thing. Alex was bringing Eva back up into the room when he felt someone watching him. He looked quickly at the door, but no one was there. He paused and pondered what his gut was telling him, but then returned to lifting Eva in through the window.36

There it was again, Alex had the feeling of a pair of eyes watching him. When he looked at the doorway again, he saw him. 37

"What are you doing here?!" Alex screamed.38

"What are you doing to Eva?!" Matt screamed at Alex, sounding as if he cared.39

"She jumped! I'm trying to pull her in. She jumped because of you, you mother fucker!" Alex screamed, as he grabbed on tighter to Eva, his arms feeling numb now.40

"She's an overweight whore. You'll never succeed" Matt said, as he began to laugh. 41

Matt stood and watched at how pathetic Alex looked, trying to help Eva. He began laughing.42
