[A] Sarah Dessen, Laurel K. Hamilton1
[B] Third person light romance/slice of life. (Generally young adult fiction.)2
Hmm...I don't know that it's the best, since it's unfinished, but my definite favorite is a fantasy/romance story about a faerie that is bound to watch over a family and becomes betrothed to their daughter, posing as a young man. He goes off to fight in the war and gets captured, and through a mix of action and fantasy fun, helps a family to find themselves and repays his debt. (It's rather more complicated, of course, and all plot points haven't been intorduced yet, but that's a rough picture of what it will be when I'm finished. An early draft of it, under the name "Battles" is on sw. It isn't as cutesy as it sounds, I promise.)3
[C] Current obsessions include Taylor Swift, Panic! at the Disco, and the Hairspray soundtrack.4
[E] I want to be in love,
want to see him shining and know that the glow's for me.
But I will never let him be my only star,
and I will never throw out my last match.5
(F) Mark Grayson, bartender. (From He Ping.)

kudos for knowing what the phrase "slice of life" means. (ex-journalism major.) but anyways, i'm about to blindside you. science fiction anyone? oh yeah, i want aliens, and starships (cool names are a definite bonus). and your main character is the equivalent of james bond for the future, but less cliched and cheesy. i want some cool gadgets, some alien fighting, and i'd even go for some one-liners. and i want this third person, omnicient narration. preferably witty, sarcastic narration. have fun!
