JaydeD "Stalker?-11"

She watched quietly as more people came in to eat and talk with friends. Skipping song after song on her iPod, Jayde started feeling very bored. All her favorite songs meant nothing to her now because she had been replaying them over and over for at least 2 hours. Jayde walked outside and took out her new pack of cigarettes, holding down the play button to shut off the music she felt a sudden presence next to her. 1

"You new here?" Asked a strange voice that she didn't remember hearing before. 2

She was scared to turn around, afraid the man might kidnap her or rape her. Tonight her name and picture would be a headline on the news: Lowell girl missing...Jayde Delmont...age 15 1/2...last seen outside a local Dunkin Donuts rotting away her lungs with a pack of Marlboros. 3

"I said you new here!"4

Shaking, Jayde finally turned to face the stranger, trying to contain the urge inside her that told her to scream, anything but answer him. 5

"Y..Yeah I am, " she stuttered. 6

Turning around, she realized it wasn't a man at all but just a guy about her age, maybe a little older. Actually he wasn't just a guy, he was one of the brothers. He stood above Jayde at least 6 inches, with light brown hair in a buzz cut style and deep brown eyes. From what she could see, he probably hadn't shaved in a while which was odd because he couldn't have been very far past his mid teens. He looked older somehow, more experienced, more...broken?7

"I know who you are, Jayde. I know what happened to your parents and why you are the only one still alive. I was there, I know all your secrets." 8

A sudden chill crawled down her spin, and she couldn't move. She couldn't say a word. What did he want from her, and how did this stranger know everything about her already?
