“Damnn it!” he says completely paralyzed on the cold floor, knowing he shouldn’t have let his guard down. Who knew the things you learn in physiology actually helps you out in life? I gave him a small bow just to humiliate him, and sprinted away. Suddenly sirens boomed through out the whole Academy.1
~~~~~~~~2
Wow, their fast at setting alarms off. How can 32 just set the alarm off when he’s lying on the floor paralyzed? All of the sudden the Academy’s intercom clicked on, and an urgent voice boomed through out all the speakers. 3
‘This is 2 speaking and I demand to have everyone’s attention. A Claux Spy seems to be on the loose. I repeat a CLAUX SPY! 32 the witness says she looks around like a three-digiter with brunette dark hair, and is currently wearing a wolf mask. All one-digiters and up meet me at the HQ immediately. All students and teachers if you see anyone that fits this description report to any two-digiter IMMEDIATELY!’ Click. Crud, I’m in deeper crap then I thought. By judging by the dim shade color of the sky I could tell that its past 9:00pm, meaning dinners over. Also meaning that everyone should be in their Dorms by now.4
I quickly slipped off the wolf mask and stared down at it. And what should I do with this? I can’t just throw it away; it’s got my fingerprints all over it. As I studied it I observed little folding marks across it. Without exactly thinking I folded it along its marks, and before I knew it, it was the size of my palm. Nice. I hastily slipped it into my back pocket where the Dictionary was. I’ll deal with it later.5
Coming up with the best way of sneaking back into my Dorm, I heard rustling by a near by bush. My heart already pumping with panic and bewilderment I almost yelped from the sudden rustling. Did someone see me put the mask away? And with that thought I sprinted away with high velocity without looking back, out of fear. I was running at a speed of around 60mph, until I heard someone follow me at the same speed. Crap, he or she must of saw. I made an unexpected sharp turn to the right; the complete opposite direction of where our Dorms are. The person did the same.6
“Wait!” He said now a few meters away from me. Like I’ll wait? I picked up the pace, the wind pressing up against my face, like a flat iron against cloth. The sky was getting darker and the moon still wasn’t in sight, making it extremely hard to see where I was going. And without noticing a ridiculous large rock in front of me, I tripped on it face flat. Going 60mph it felt as if I fell off a five-story building when I hit the ground. And just to make matters worse the guy fell right on top of me. I let out a cry of pain, as dirt flied into my mouth. He quickly scrambled up off of me, and bowed in apology. 7
“Oww, I’m so sorry. I didn’t think you’d just stop like that.” He said worried helping me up. It was 732. A sigh of relief came over me, knowing that it wasn’t some psycho two-digiter thinking I was the spy. As I scrambled up I felt a sharp pain sting my nose.8
“Why did you just take off like that? It seemed like you were running for your life.” He asked bewildered and out of breath. I gave him a dumbfounded expression.9
“Uhh…Well… I thought I spotted the spy.” I lie. His eyes widen in disbelief.10
“You serious!? Why didn’t you say so?! Do you know how many people are looking for her right now?? Aww man, I’m so sorry we probably lost her by now.” He says, his tone changing from a high to a low. I wave off his apology with my hand.11
“It’s okay, I might have been wrong.” I say rubbing my nose, it felt strangely warm. I looked down and found my fingertips scarlet red. ‘Crap’ I mumble. 732 looks from my fingers to my nose.12
“Oh no, I’m so sorry. I probably fell pretty hard on you. Is it broken?” He apologizes taking a better look at my nose.13
“Stop apologizing, I’m fine. I don’t think it’s broken; maybe slightly fractured. Let’s just go to our Dorms.” I say, trying to wipe off the oozing blood dripping from my nose. 732 looks at me concerned.14
“It looks broken to me. Here I’ll carry you.” He says scooping me up with both sturdy arms with ease. I grunt in frustration.15
“Okay my nose is broken but I’m not paralyzed. I can still walk.” I say annoyed hoping off, and tilting my head back. As I take the first few steps, my head starts to get woozy.16
“Gimmie your shoulder.” I mumble. He smiles and lets me lean my head on him.17
“Just try not to get blood on my uniform.” He points out. I ignore his comment and we both walk towards the Dorms in unison. My mind occupied and filled with the pervious stunts I just pulled off in the last three hours and a half. Should I report to the HQ that I wasn’t a real spy but an actual student snooping around 32’s office? Or should I keep it a secret and see where everything goes? As I think harder I become dizzier. I shut my eyes, thinking this would help. I shouldn’t have gone in that dumb hallway in the first place. Stupid curiosity. 18
As we walked towards the Dorms, I start to feel slight vibrations through the ground with my feet. I open my eyes in alert and see about twenty or so people with light tacks [like flashlights but in a ball] all searching frantically around the campus. I let out a groan of guilt. All of them are looking for a spy that doesn’t even exists. Trying my best to ignore them we stride towards the three-digiters Dorm. 19
732 swiftly tapped in the code on the cold code pad with his long fingers, as it beeped in its melodically tune. The main entrance doors slide open in one swift movement, and we stepped in onto the marble floor. The warmth of the room blanketing us both. 20
“Thanks for your shoulder. I’ma go to my room now.” I say tilting my head backwards so the blood doesn’t drip. 732 smiles.21
“No problem. Don’t forget to take some bone meds for your nose.” Like I’ll forget about my fractured nose. I hastily climb up the stairs towards the girls’ side of the Dorm and walk down the endless hallway of rooms till I reach mine. Still somehow tilting my head back, I press in the code next to the door as it beeps. Then I press my hand against its reading screen, making it blink green twice. The door popped open.22
‘Welcome back 692.’ Says the Room, in its robotic voice.23
“Hi Room.” I say back as I walk in.24
‘How was your da-’25
“Room can I have some meds for my broken nose please.” I say reaching for some tissue, cutting off it's sentence. There was a short pause.26
‘Yes 692.’ A humming sensation grew through the walls, and then two pills plunked out of the Room’s whole. I scoop up the meds and swallow them up with a gulp of some water. Instantly my nose started to tingle, making me want to itch it. Within seconds my nose healed back to normal as if it was never even touched. I wipe off the dried blood and plopped back onto the bed, slowly sinking in the soft cushions. 27
I feel like crap. What would they do to me if they found out that I was the ‘spy’? It seems like an extremely big deal that the Claux Galaxy spy is here. What does galaxy mean anyway? Then a ping hits my head. I completely forgot that I was still holding the Dictionary! I quickly emptied my back pocket, including the wolf mask that unfolded itself and grabbed the Dictionary. As I flipped through the pages I heard a faint knock on the door.28
“Room who is it?” I ask wondering who would come here this late.29
‘It’s 732, 692.’ The Room replies. I go back to flipping through the pages.30
“Let him in.” The door opens and 732 walks in.31
“What’s up?” I ask not really caring about the answer.32
“I was just wondering if you were okay.” He says closing the door. There was a long silent pause. Curious, I look up at him. He was staring straight at the wolf mask on my bed.33
“You’re the spy?”34
