A Good and Bad Evening

11 years ago my mother and I went to see one of my favorite bands. She had just gotten out of the hospital with a blood clot that was in her leg and could have gone to her heart. If it would have she would have died. My dad drove us up to Tulsa, Ok for the concert. He stayed in the hotel room as I loaded my mom and her wheelchair in the car. As I approched the maybe center and saw all those fans I knew it would be the best night ever. Little did I know what was soon going to happen. We got to go back first to our seats. I was pushing her down this long hallway and when we came to the end I saw Zach Hanson standing near the elevator. As we came in close Zach's friend pushed him in the elevator and we had to wait for the next ride. I was mad cause I wasn't like freaked and going to run him down or anything. Anyway we get to our seats and have an amazing view of the stage. We had light up necklaces around our necks and on our wrist. It was just the best. My mom looks over at me half way through the concert and ask me "What would you do if I put my head down and died right here?" I looked over at here with her head down and at once all I could hear was the hansons playing in like slow motion. I felt my heart sank and looked at everyone around me screaming for the guys. No one could have herd me if I did scream. I felt like I was underwater and couldn't hear anything. Then my mom looks up at me and smiles. A tear ran down my face and I took the deapest breath I could take and the next song was the one they wrote for there dead grandma. I hugged my mom and said "I love you so much mom, please don't leave me." She said she was having fun and wasn't going anywhere. As the concert ended I had the most fun ever. I still thank her and I still want another run for a chance at a hanson concert!
