My romance rant

Romance is important. Which sounds more romanctic to you, the lovers who are together because its ment to be, or the lovers who strive and claw and build and question and come to the realisation of that because of that struggle, because they took the time to learn from and about each other, they've built a love strong enough to last for a lifetime? Its awfully ironic that the idea of lovers fated to be together is romantic.Whats romantic about complete lack of will?

this is what haoppens when i get started

I think the only reason that people think that it's romantic to be "destined to be together" or "meant to be together" is 'cause of Romeo and Juliet. Even though some people haven't read Shakespeare, a lot of his ideas are sort of incorporated in other things that affect us - like movies, books, etc. And so the cycle goes on and on.
Of course, I'm a little biased because people who say that so-and-so couple are "Fated to be together" are usually talking about a girl and a guy who saw each other, fell in love at first sight, and BAM! Relationship happened.

Very insightful. I prefer the struggle. Then it's hard to let go.

    :O

Wow......I was recently cheated on by a girlfriend and that story meant more to me than anything I've heard or read or felt in a very long time. I never even look twice at most things but when I started reading the brief on it I knew that it was gonna help me and that I needed to continue reading...thank you.
