"Lunette.. where are you, Lunette?" A man with a thick british accent called out from the shadows. "i am here, my love." a high, almost birdlike voice chirped from the entrance to the graveyard. the shadow of her frail figure was stretched out, her nightgown flapping in the breeze. 1
"oh, darling!" the man, edward, appeared from underneath a dying willow tree. edward was at lunette's side in seconds. he held both of her hands. 2
"i apologize for making you go to so much trouble to meet me, but this was the only place where we would not be found.." he stopped short, noticing that lunette was about to speak.3
"my darling edward; i would climb the highest mountain, swim the widest ocean, walk the longest desert, just to be with you." she told him in a less than passionate tone, which was taught to girls her age.4
"as would i, my most beautiful flower. i would kill another man just to see you smile." he said in that dashing, irrational voice that had made lunette fall in love.5
"well, that's hardly necessary" she laughed.6
Edward's face suddenly became serious. " darling, i love you more than life itself. i should like to marry you someday." his eyes were very sincere. "but your father would never approve of a boy, no, a man like me.7
"if i only had the necessities of a perfect life; wealth, fame, but these things would all seem so unimportant compared to you. it's a shame i cannot have all of these things. your father will not allow you to marry into a family with no money. what is the point of living without you?"8
it was lunette's turn to speak. "i have come across many a man in my short life, but i know, that if any man is destined to wealth, fame, and yet, a wife, it would be edward bath. if i must give up all my riches, simply to become Mrs. bath, then i would allow it. i love you more than the sun and the sky, if not, more, and i know that we will find a way to be together, sir bath." she giggled and tousled his golden-brown hair. 9
they embraced, shared a quick kiss, and disappeared into the shadows, both startled by the unexpected sound of two men approaching the graveyard, one carrying a shovel, and the other wearing the stolen crown of prince howard.

This was interesting.
The dialog was sickening but love talk was like that in those days soooo *shrugs*
You have me wondering what's going to happen next, it seems to have an interesting plot.
Good luck in the contest!
