An argument with myself

i've been thinking about consciousness and if our consciousness is real A. there is a god, or B. it's some strange form of instinct and as a result the end of our lives should mean nothing to us. well that fact that we have consciousness is a strike for god but, if there is no god then we wouldn't be aware of our own demise so it shouldn't concern us1

well, people are pretty aware of dying They're afraid of it be there a god or not2

what about after the death is over then what?3

then if there's a god you're punished or rewarded, and if there's not then there's nothing
