Eva began to perspire as she watched the knob twist and turn.1
"Eva! Open up!"2
Eva threw her head back and let out a deep sigh.3
"Alex!" She screamed out, overjoyed.4
"Why is the door locked? Open up." Alex said confused.5
Eva ran tot he door and unlocked it. Alex pushed open the door and walked into the bedroom. Eva put her hands over her mouth. She was shocked to see who was with Alex. 6
"Hey Eva!" Matt said happily.7
"Dad!" Eva said, glad to see her dad, although she was confused.8
"Didn't..." Eva turned to Alex9
"Didn't you kick him out?" She asked Alex, confused more than ever. Then it hit her.10
Eva threw her arms around Alex and hugged him. She gave him a kiss on the lips, then caught herself. She remembered that her father was standing in the room, and felt a little embarrassed.11
"Yeah. I did, but I feel bad. I know how it is to not have your father there because of someone pushing him away from you. I didn't want to do that to you, I didn't want you to hate me, Sweety." Alex said, and he looked down after he called her Sweety.12
Eva felt her heart flutter when she heard Alex call her Sweety. She had to hold a giggle, she wasn't the giggling type of person. She knew though, if she was going to be with Alex any longer, she soon will be. Alex makes her feel good, he seems to really care about her. 13
"I thought maybe since it's really dark and late now, he'd spend the night here, then we could all head back to your house or whatever. I have no place to be." Alex said, looking at both Eva and her dad.14
Alex went to the hall closet and took out some sheets and did the bed in the next bedroom for Matt. When he was done he stood near the window and looked out into the night. He let out a long deep sigh, filled with emotion, filled with heart break.15
"Alright, Your bedroom is ready for tonight. I'll see you in the morning. Good night." Alex told Matt.16
"Oh sorry." Alex said. He had walked into the bedroom when Matt was hugging Eva. Eva had a sad look on her face. Alex thought it was probably his crazy self thinking, but he could have sworn that she didn't want her dad to touch her. He let it pass, as he stood by the door waiting for Matt to leave.17
"Thank you Alex. You're a true gentleman." Matt said, placing his hands on Alex's shoulders. 18
Matt looked back at Eva and nodded his head. "Good Night" he said, as he walked away and into his bedroom he disappeared.19
"Oh, Eva. This has been such a draining night." Alex said to Eva, as he closed the bedroom door so Matt couldn't hear or see them. 20
Alex locked the door and took off his shirt as he went to lay in bed. He lifted up the covers and got under, and he patted the other side of the bed, mentioning for Eva to get in bed with him.21
"I don't have any clothes to change into. I just have this dress..." She said, as she looked to the ground. 22
"You could take that dress of and wear my shirt..." Alex said, his words drifting as he had an idea. 23
"Or you could just sleep in your underwear." Alex said bluntly. 24
Alex laughed at the expression on Eva's face. He found it awfully funny, and wouldn't stop laughing. 25
"I'm joking! Chill, ha ha" He laughed.26
Eva lightened up and joined in on Alex's laughter. 27
"You sicko." She said, giggling as she looked at Alex. 28
Eva decided to surprise Alex, and be a little blunt herself. She got out of her dress and walked towards the bed, getting under the covers with Alex. She saw the expression on Alex's face, and she was the one who was laughing now. She felt a chill, a single shiver run down her spine. Eva wrapped her arms around Alex and closed her eyes. At that one moment, it suddenly hit her. 29
Eva's eyes snapped open and she looked at Alex in horror. Alex felt her sudden movement and he too opened his eyes.30
"What's wrong?" Alex asked Eva, worried.31
Eva couldn't take her eyes off of Alex. It was too dark for her to see, but she still was in shock. 32
"Eva, what's wrong?!" Alex asked once again, impatiently. 33
Eva shook her head, as she got out of bed and walked towards the front of the bedroom. She looked down, and she picked up Alex's shirt, holding it in her hands as she stared at Alex.34
Alex had totally forgot, and it too just hit him what Eva was so freaked out by. 35
"I could explain!" Alex said, not wanting Eva to become afraid.36
