There once was a little girl who saw a blue jay in her backyard. She loved the way it moved and soared through the air, like it was weigtless. She wanted one of her own. She asked her mother for one, but she refused. She asked all of her relatives and they all said no. Then, one Christmas morning, the little girl woke up to find dozens of blue jays flying in the room. They soared through the air just as the one in her backyard had done! The little girl was so thrilled that she finally had her bluebirds!!

This is a very cute little story. You wrote it quite well. Does it have exactly a hundred words? Just curious. I've heard that drabbles have only a hundred words.
