What's in a Name? ("Contest")

Angel isn't happy with her name1

So ungratified. What a shame!2

Like for Vlad Tepish,(The Voivode)3

Count Dracula seemed more in vogue4

And of course for old Samuel Clemens5

Mark Twain carried fewer lemons.6

But, Evan Hunter, Ed McBain7

Doesn't matter. It's all the same.8

By this time I thought a writer knows9

A Rose by any name's a Rose

A contest entry

Yes, very clever. I enjoyed it! And I thought the ending was "right on"! A lot of truth behind that last remark!
