Text Breakers (Shason) one-shot

Jason looked at the text message on his I-phone that was in his hands trying not to cry. "How could he do this to me?" he whispered holding back the tears.1

What did the letter say? It said he wasn't coming home. Why? Because he couldn't, well more or less wouldn't out of guilt. This was the exact message.2

I'm sorry to leave so suddenly. I had no choice though. I don't want to ruin both of our careers.
