Love, It's a simple word1
elapsing around the trees and such2
falling on the hearts of men and brooding on the minds of all3
Love, its a terrible word4
for some don't know it true5
not sex or kisses or emotional ties6
love is what holds our minds7
and keeps us searching endlessly8
across the vast and wide eastern sea.9
love does not bind10
It merely wills11
it fills and stuffs into our minds12
to know your true soul mate Devinne13
listen to your heart AND your mind14
if you ever ask "is this right"15
then that shows you have a fleeting fright16
do not say "i do" and marry then17
for why ask the question if you knew it was right?18
wait until the moment comes when you no longer ponder on19
and hold a thought and have to think20
for love will come in a single blink21
the answer is there, the truth just misconstrued22
love is not sex, lust, or FOOD23
people blind themselves for life24
the eyes aren't the only things with sight25
life maybe be full of mystery26
and some full of misery27
but what good do you do when you say "i do" to the one you know not sure of?28
some do it "for the sake of the kids"29
well why did you have them if you thought "is this right?"? why did you say those words when you knew you asked? the brain is for smarts and all things alike30
the heart for pumping blood to keep us alight31
but the mind, the oh so ignored, is the one that knows where your love resides32
The world today turns around in panic33
and now its time to see34
open your mind and close your mouth35
and let your instincts guide by right36
nothing fits more than this:37
marriage for any other reason than instinct is a marriage that ends in a fight38
a good marriage ends in death39

You're right when you say to think about it. Sometimes I let my heart overwhelm my mind and tends to be a problem. I want to thank you for taking the time and energy that was required for your entry in my contest Does Love STILL Make The World Go Round? Personally I have learned through my life experiences that women do have one thing in common. They all need attention. Some more than others, but it's something that guys need to realize. Because people have been told all their lives that they are only half a person till they can find another half to make them whole unfortunately. As such... many have come to the conclusion that it is better to have something/someone than nothing/no-one at all and their fear of being alone prompts them to simply accept that if someone cares enough to love them....then they should be loved in return. Also... unfortunately.

lol and then you added that little comment.. whats to think about.. its so easy to get.. just slaps you in the face.. lol really really really really really really good write.. i loved it alot.. its about following your instints in love.. not just listening to your heart .. because you heart could be wrong.. you could think your in love.. but really your just in love with the idea of being in love.. many people today dont even know what love is and they are married.. my parents stayed together for the kids.. and how your heart pumping blood for life. ya i know. people really take it that they "follow their heart over their mind" what does that mean anyways? ur heart doesnt decide anything.. its an organ that pumps blood. ur mind controls how you feel. this is my absoulte favorite part..

if you have to think if its right to get married.. you shouldnt marry at all.. u have to know its right and not think twice.. love will get you threw anything and if you dont have that.. u wont even be able to stand living under the same roof for the time you are married..
