Ten Reasons I Live On

1) I live to keep others alive. I want them to have someone to rely on when they too are upset and need someone to turn to in their darkness hour.1

2) I live to prove I am strong. I live to show myself that I can take anything and everything that comes at me, and to show myself I have grown stronger since my last suicide attempt.2

3) I live so I can repent for my mistakes. I don't want to die with more wrongs than rights, and I can still help other people if I go on living. I'm not religious, but I do have personal morals.3

4) I live to be a mother. I want children in the future and if thats all I do with my life than I have done something right.4

5) I live to do my part in changing to world. Everyone has an effect on the world, no matter how insignificant. Lumber jacks are taking down trees that can never come back, hunters are killing animals that won't ever get another chance at life, murderers are ending the lives of innocents, law enforcers are keeping society safe, government officials are both screwing up and doing right. I can have an effect on this world too.5

6) I live for the sake of my friends, who I care about, and I know they care about me.6

7) I live for the sake of my family, who despite the arguments and anger, I know love me as much as I love them.7

8) I live to find love, to know what it is like to have someone so close and special to you.8

9) I live to learn all there is to learn about this world, and do what I can to help it.9

10) I live to be myself. I live to love myself, respect myself, and be who I am and enjoy doing do.
