I looked into his face and saw familiarity7

His soothing voice spoke tender words8

I thought we could be9

If only given time10

He wanted the lightning11

I wanted the fire12

He wasn’t ready for me13

I wasn’t ready for him14

I’m so tired I can not sleep

I couldn't sleep the morning after he walked away... This screamed in my mind, got up and typed it out...
