I hate highschool conservatives

I hate highschool conservatives1

That think they know everything2

about everything and everyone3

Who can't come up with any reason for hating Micheal Moore (GENIUS!)4

other than calling him a dick or duchebag5

Haven't they ever heard6

that insults give people a reason to ignore you.7

because there are no reasons behind them.8

I hate those stupid guys9

that think just because they can drive means that they suddenly own the school10

although they don't care about public education11

because they blatantly ignore the fact that ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS are being spent every second on the completely FuCkInG useless war in Iraq12

while student loans are being taken away13

and funds for public schooling will soon be gone 14

if the unelected madman ruling this country gets his way15

i just hate highschool conservatives16

that say they hate bowling for columbine17

even though that movie is extremely conservative for a liberal18

and supports the NRA very much19

and they've never even seen the movie20

but since they know everything,21

they don't have to watch it to know what it's about.22

Douchebag, that's the way to spell it. Funny that the word douche means shower in French. I wonder how it got into English as a swear word.

Firstly, the comment was directed at Ecrivain01, not you ballerina17. Second of all, please talk to me respectively, without swearing in the least. I am not treating you as if you are below me, nor am I drawing judgments against you. Please be polite,

You spelled "Michael Moore" wrong in the fourth line.

Also, I'm not entirely sure (seeing as I doubt it's in a dictionary), but I think you also spelled "douchebag" wrong.

Simply because you are ot a high schooler does not mean that you know all there is about the world -none of us do. There are a great many places in the world, and I sincerely doubt that you have gone -for an extended period of time- into most of them. You know what you have experienced, yet you have not experienced all conservatives. It is clear due to your view of them not as good people.

If you do not mind revealing your age, may I ask what it is?

One note: I'm female. Please refer to me therefore.

As to conservatives, making such wide generalizations about them is simply wrong. The way to get things done in this country is to work together, not necessarily with the neoconservatives, but with the moderates. Take, for example, Gordon Smith, Republican senator from Oregon. When asked if he'd be helping Bush pass his bills, he said "I reply to the people of Oregon." When Bush pushed his oil drilling in Alaska bill, Gordon Smith voted against it.

Further, I know good people, including friends, that are conservative. I don't know if all of you are high schoolers, but for those who are, remember that you have not experienced much of the world. You have experienced the small corner of the world where you live. How the world is elsewhere is and can be greatly different. Maybe, maybe the conservatives where you are are not tolerant et cetera, but that does not mean all conservatives are that way. If you do not tolerate conservatives, it will only raise the pressure, the hatred, and the poor treatment of yourself.

And remember, don't judge everything before you truly know what it is about,

    good on you

I understand completely, as I know what conservatives are really like. They are not good people, no matter what that guy said above. I've spent a lifetime watching them try to destroy our country and now they are finally succeeding. It's a sad time in America and a sad time for the world.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm only a freshman right now but I hate it. The whole high school scene is just not what I hoped it would be. Everyone talk about you behind your back, makes fun of you, starts drama, and everything like that. School isn't a place to fight, it's a place to learn and people can't catch that concept. If you ask me, I think high school is just like middle school with much bigger problems. And I know how you feel about the education going down the drain. Right now school means a lot to me so I get mad when I keep getting reminded that soon the whole United States will have a fucked up school administration. Bush is ruining this country. He has no fricken idea what the hell he's doing. Wow, I'm getting worked up lol so this is all I'm gonna say. This was a great write. I liked it a lot.

I believe the point is tolerance and grace and such in many ways. Conservatives, in high school and elsewhere, can be intolerent, unkind, and even cruel; but so can liberals. I am an environmentalist, an independent, and my politics usually lay between the two parties. However, I have been jeered and mistreated by both groups where they are the majority. It now somewhat amuses me to, in the same day, be calling "a right wing fundamentalist" and "a liberal hothead" and such variations.

What oftentimes both groups do not want to admit, is that there are instances where each are as intolerant as the other. I hope you recognize that, for amazingly enough, the worse treatment I have ever gotten was from liberals. They'd cornered one conservative -polite, quiet, stayed out of other's ways- and were just bullying her essentially; according to them, my stepping in to her defense was a sign of what a "fundamentalist Christian conservative" (add your own expletives) I was. Both sides act immoral at times.

    I hope that can change.

But remember, hate doesn't solve problems,

Damn dude I totally agree with it, I lived in Alabama in high school so with conservatives there they were just plain stupid, no if's and's or but's. First off I got the ganged up on for trying to make an atheists club, tossed in a locker for doing a gay rights demonstration outside the school when our principle kept singling out this one gay student so if you think conservative high schoolers where you're from are bad, shit you should come down to Bama those kids are nuts, just like the hicks who raised them. ANyways check out some of my poems for me okay. A lot of mine are anti-war, anti-Bush, you name it. Kudos
