“Hello John thank you, now a short interview with one of the survivors”2

“Hello Courtney and welcome to 60 mins”3

“Thank you Katie” 4

“Now Courtney can you tell us about the island and want happen as well”5

“Ok it was a normal day for me getting ready, to go to Egypt. At the airport I saw students getting ready to go on the plane and Lovers going on a honeymoon but I was here to help the sick in Egypt” said Courtney 6

“Wow and why were you helping the sick people?”7

“Well they had I rare illness that blinded them” replied Courtney 8

“Ok so what the name?” 9

“….Anyway as the host called our fight, on the plane everything seemed fine and there when talking and laughing. As the flight attendant showed us the safety processes. The captain told us we are off, as the plane went in the sky I was relaxed and so I took a nap” said Courtney10

“How very interesting” 11

“Um… yes it is …then Sudd ley “BAM!”12

“Omg!”Said Katie 13

“The plain shook I woke up to see what was going on everyone was screaming children were crying , old people holding their partners hand saying goodbyes”14

*Crying* “That so sad” *blows nose”15

“Yes it is” said Courtney patting Katie’s back 16

“Now Courtney you have told us that the plane is getting destroy can you tell us more about it”20

“Well Katie the bad news is that a bag smacked me in the head so I don’t remember” said Courtney 21

“But I thought that I was died at first blackness was around me. I was I alone and hopeless than suddenly and a sharp pain on my head woke me up straight away and I found myself floating on a piece of the plane wreckage, and then I saw it….”22

“What did you see?” 23

Courtney looked at her “The Island” 24

“Wow” said Katie25

Courtney shakes her head26


“My heart nearly stopped beating because of how frightening it was. The Island looks like a jungle with cold wind conditions”27

“Umm is that all it looked liked?”28

“I forgot what it look like because of the bag hitting me on the head” said Courtney29

“I got off the plane wreckage, I waded around the water, and my legs were wobbly from the shock of what just happened.I walked around the Island and then I herd a yell from the plane. “Help help”, she yelled. I lifted part of the plane and she said to me “Thank you so much” “Its ok, what your name?” I replied her name was Sarah and she told me about herself her career and why was she here Sarah’s leg was broken”30

“Ouch” 31

“Don’t you mind please” said Courtney 32

“Sorry”33

“Anyway good thing that I was there . I told her to relax and I went to look for a strong stick to splint her leg. When I was on my way back I saw another survivor. She said to me, “Hi my name is Lilly Smith I saw Sarah and thought she was all alone and than I saw you”. I tried the splint to Sarah’s leg with some rope that Lilly had found. 34

“So all of you were girl, well there will be not romance” Katie laugh 35

“And that why Sarah and Lilly are together” Courtney looked at Katie36

“Oh”37

“The three of us talked for a while, after that Lilly and I went to the wreckage to find food, shelter and water. Bodies were every where; it smelt as bad as walking into a room of dead animals”38

“Oh so you smelled my feet then” 39

Courtney’s scoot to the right more40

“I walked around as I covered my eyes. I couldn’t bare the sight. I remember seeing the bodies of the people I knew.” 41

Courtney looks at Katie 42

“What”43

“Well I going to stop because you going to cry when I say this part if the story” said Courtney44

“I will not”45

“Ok then”46

“Some of them were the children that were on the plane laughing and smiling, but now they lay in silence.”47

Take tissue and gives to Katie 48

“I am not crying” takes the tissue and blows 49

“Umm I think we need go to the ads” 50

Welcome Back again to the new viewers who just came, Katie Westwood is talk to one of the survivors on the Island.53

“Thank you John, now Courtney tells us more what happen when you saw the bodies on the ground?”54

“Well it was gross and it smelled bad like I just told you but you started to cry so can I tell more?” said Courtney 55

“…Yes…”56

“Lilly hugged me for comfort, Lilly and I gathered supplies and we headed back to Sarah. She asked if anyone else was alive, sadly I shook my head and all was quite for a few hours. I broke the eerie silence by asking if we should make a memorial for them”57

“Awww that nice”58

“Well thank you Katie”59

“Sarah and Lilly both agreed so we went and gathered flowers and candles form the wreck for the memorial. We placed the candles on the top of the flowers, lit them and gently pushed the casket out to sea”60

“Wow Courtney that is very noble of you to do that”61


“Are you ok?”62


Katie eyes glowed “Yes I am”63

Blinked went Courtney64

“So Courtney how do you sleep?” asked Katie 65

“Well we built a simple hut out of wood, coth and rope. When we had finished I realized how cold it was getting. It made it difficult to sleep. But thinking of you loved ones made it worse. The morning I remembered that all of us were getting ready to find food and water. Lilly and I went to find food; we found bananas, pineapples and apples."66

"I bet it taste good?"67

“Yeah if you were dying”68

“After a couple of days on the Island I started to lose hope that we would be rescued, Sarah’s leg weren’t healing fast enough. I saw her leg was getting blacker and she couldn’t feel her toes.”69

“What did you do Courtney?”70

“I decided to amputate her leg”71

“I think I going to be sick” Katie said as she walk out of the room.72

On 60 mins Courtney Scott has told us about her great story about her days on the Island.75

“So Courtney as you were told us about that you decided to amputate her leg”76

“Yes I did Katie”77

“How did you do it?”asked Katie78

“Well Lilly held her down as I picked up a rock and bashed her in the head to knock her out”79

Katie’s mouth was open,80

“What that was the only way to do it”81

“Anyway as I started to cut her leg off carefully through the muscles and the bone that was a pain. Lilly couldn’t look and Katie just trowed up on me” 82

“Sorry”83

Courtney got up to the bathroom. 84

“Courtney was Sarah ok with the operation?”87

“As I finish the operation and bandaged up the leg. A month passed by Sarah was feeling ok but her legs were still bad. Lilly had made crutches for Sarah”88

“Well that ok for Sarah but had you nearly died at the Island once since you stay here?” asked Katie89

“Well then was once I fell out of a 30 foot tree when I was collecting bananas and hit my head and fell unconscious. I never ate bananas since then.”90

Katie Blinked “Ok...” hides the bananas than she was going to give her.91

“And to finish this interview how did you get saved?”92

“Well Katie One day we saw a fishing boat and yelled and screamed for help and hope that they would see us. Lilly grabbed flair gun and fired it towards the boat. The boat came towards us. We were so happy to be alive. Lilly lived happy life with Sarah. Sarah got a new robotic leg as for me I; well I hope it never happen again. 93
