She clutched her bag and pulled it over her shoulder, Chloe slumped back onto her locked and lightly drifted to the floor. Her dark brown hair was held loosely in a low pony tail, the hair band became even more loose as she rubbed it against the lockers, and with this it fell to the floor. Her hair sprang out, not too frizzy but not at all straight. She closed her eyes and tear drops began to form, she tapped her head on the metal doors, and took off her bag, she threw it down the vast hallway and hugged her knees. Her uniform was a black skirt and red cardigan, underneath she wore white T-shirt and long white socks, her shoes were plain, black, and practical for school. She was tanned, with dark brown eyes. Chloe had never been good at making friends, but she had never any intention of doing so, school was for learning, not for chatting to mates and playing stupid games. 1
"Hey Chloe!" A familiar voice echoed down the hallway, until it reached the mournful Chloe.2
She glanced around to see Emma. She had always hated Emma, she was horrible and only used people, she had used her and Chloe could never forgive her for that. Chloe turned her head and tears raced down her cheeks. Why. That was the only question she had. Why should she care about friends now, she had never before. But she had never been in year 6 before, school used to be her best hobby, learning new things made her happy, she had been teachers pet in all the classes. And had never had a male teacher, until year 6, she had a new teacher who was infact male, and wasnt like any other teacher. He was persistant. And would always make her read out things in class, and kept reminding her of what a great author she was.3
"Hi Emma!" Another voice boomed down the hall.4
