This is just a small rant so bear with me.1
I've seen THIS on a few people's page;2

A girl and a guy were speeding on a motorcycle, going over 90 mph on the road.4
Girl: Slow down. I’m scared.5
Guy: No, this is fun.6
Girl: No, it’s not. Please, it’s too scary!7
Guy: Then tell me you love me.8
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!9
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.10
*Girl hugs him*11
Guy: Can you take my helmet off & put it on yourself? It’s bugging me.12
(In the paper the next day)13
A motorcycle crashed into a building because of brake failure. Two people were on it, but only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his brakes failed, but he didn’t want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.14
If you would EVER do this for ANYONE, please put this on your page.15

Because I would NEVER EVER do that for anyone!17
And I've been in love. I know what it's like to love someone enough to want to die for them. But what that guy is doing is not that. 18
That guy is a conceited jerk. Anyone who would not admit to a problem just to look good in his girl's eyes does not love that girl. Anyone who does not love a girl enough to wish to remain with her forever no matter what is not in love. Anyone who would even think it's possible for his girl to get hurt and would still put her in danger of getting hurt, IS NOT IN LOVE!19
If that guy loved that girl, he wouldn't have put his own life in danger too. If that guy loved that girl, he would have gotten off the bike the moment he knew there was a problem, gotten the girl off the bike and WALKED! Apparently they weren't in the middle of no where since they hit a tree. So go for help, signal a car, go into a building and ask to use the phone. Heck, this is the digital age, where's his cell phone to call for help? 20
His actions are no different than had he been driving drunk. Would you put a loved one on a bike with you if you've been drinking? Without a helmet?21
You do not EVER put another's life in danger. If he was riding alone and thought he could make it, fine, let him kill himself. But never, ever put your loved one in danger or anyone else for that matter. 22
Why wasn't she wearing a helmet in the first place? Ok, come on, common sense dude, the moment you get on the bike you give your helmet to your girl if you don't have a spare. So what if you get a ticket if you're caught without one? Would you rather your girl get the ticket? Would you rather your girl's brains be spread out all over the asphalt because an accident happened before the moment you switched the helmet? And yes they could have easily had an accident anytime before this point even if the bike was in pristine condition. Didn't he care enough about her to think of that?23
So next time you post this on your page, THINK! Would I do this? Or would I love my girl enough to swallow my pride and do the right thing?

I m agree with you toni...i think that story shows foolishness of dankard romeo...i think i would never allow myself and my beloved to ride on bike without helmet or that kind of bike....good job you raised on very good point....nicely done.

I always thought that little tidbit was more annoying and unbelievable than it was touching. You make a good point, middle of nowhere, just coast to a smooth stop. Oh well.

I agree with you. I have also seen the thing you just said in somebody else's page. And I have to agree that that guy is stupid. I mean, that would only happen if a person is drunk. I wonder who even started that.

Well, this is an interesting topic to look at. I liked this. you see, I was a sucker for these chain letters. Heck, my friend Mikami talked some sense into me as one scared me somewhat, and she told me to ignore it. But then again, it's kinda hard to ignore weird horror tales.
And the message is clear: Never put your loved one(s) in danger. That's very foolish, and to show that you have no intelligence whatsoever.
But this was a very good read! I didn't find any spelling or grammar mistakes, which is rare for some people who rant. *laughs*
