El Fin

The power of last words is immeasurable. Like the tail of a comet, these final words reverberating through eternity, long after their speaker has passed on. A vast number of last words have been spoken, but none as powerful as those said suspended between Heaven and Earth. “It is finished.”

This is really deep for such a short piece. The first thing that popped into my head when I read this was the story of Creation from Genesis in the Bible.

"It is finished." Did God say that after the sixth day?

Really thought provoking, and it's only 50 words!

    Wow.

    Brilliant. This is absiolutely wonderful.

It's very different from the rest if my entries, in a fantastic way. It's worded perfectly, and it says so much in your few words. Just what I wanted.

Definitely something to think about; wonderful.

Thank you so much for entering my contest, and I wish you the absolute best of luck!

    xoxo

Nice. I really like the last two sentences. The finality was really profound. I think you'll go far with this. Good job.
