My name is Melosa Damita. i grew up in a small town in my mothers country, located on the ice planet called cerad. my father, a wealthy spaniard left for the war when i was 5, he returned on my 12th birthday to tell me he loved me and that i may never see him again (yeah wonderful gift) since then he's stayed true to his word and i haven't even heard from for those 4 years that passed.1

Today is my 16th birthday, in my country on your sixteenth birthday you earn the right to choose your occupation, once you decide you're automatically put into training. grade school is finished when you're 13, so you can decide what you want in the gap between ages, sometimes there are exceptions, but not for good reasons. the only way exceptions are made is if you've failed basic training, which means you're given a year extra and if you still don't successfully complete your basic courses it could result in being tranferred. which means you're removed from Cerad and taken to Eyren, where my father left to fight in the war, the war. The war is fought for those who were removed from cerad, to get rid of this law, my mother and myself are tortured by other citizens, they say it's people like us who cause wars and we should be banished as well just because my father was brave enough to fight.2

i guess that brings us up to date on what's happening now. here's my story, my families' escape from persecution, my fathers fighting, my mothers loneliness, and my fear.
