Zafina.1
“I had a dream last night” my voice sounded shaky, I don't know why, it sounded so strong when I said it in my mind. Looking up I saw Estelle and Drey looking at me, I wondered was that my echo coming back to me? My weak voice seemed to play over and over in my head as they sat near me, they always seem so worried about me when I said random stuff like that. I looked around as I smiled slightly. 2
The layout of this room was a weird one. Two red leather couches placed in an L shape facing the pool table that was placed nearby. The TV was randomly placed behind the couch. Blue, red and purple coloured walls with white stars placed in no specific order all over them. Yes this room was weird, but we liked it. Me, Estelle and Drey had been living here just over a month now.3
“Zafina?” Estelle asked, I looked back at the girls, Estelle's green-grey eyes curious and Drey's brown one's worried.4
“I had a dream, there was this girl” I started as I looked down at my lap and remembered,5
“A girl whose name I didn't get, long black hair and diamond blue eyes, her figure seemed perfect.” I stopped and giggled a bit, I always seemed to get embarrassed when talking about girls with them, they knew I was a lesbian and I was so happy they didn't care. I looked up, Drey had a small smile on her thin face, she wore all that make-up and didn't really need it, Estelle's wide cheeky grin waited for me to go on.6
“And we kinda got a little kinky ya know?” giggling a little more as I talked both the girls came closer. I pushed a lose strand of blonde hair back from my face and put it up in the bun with the rest of my hair, I could see I had set of something. All of a sudden Estelle was pushing her short brown hair back from her face and Drey was retying her red haired pony tale. My hazel eyes danced with laughter as they caught me staring at them.7
“Go on then, details miss!!” Drey nearly yelled, I don't think she knew how loud she actually was, I laughed more.8
“And well, we were in a bedroom, it seemed kind of old, the walls were peeling there green wallpaper and the carpet was stained brown, the bed though, it was immaculate, black laced covers with white embroidery, I can't remember the writing on it though...” Knitting my brows together I tried hard to remember, then suddenly, I did, I looked up shocked.9
“And.... And I killed her” I continued looking back down at my lap, I had remembered so many times and this is the first time I realised what I had done. 10
I looked up at them, I could tell by there now very worried faces they could see the fear in my eyes.11
“Well...” Drey broke the silence that fell after my last words, she was getting up now, going back over to the pool table “we all have weird dreams Zaf, soon you'll forget you even had it” she smiled as she picked up her cue stick and hit the white ball into the middle, hitting a coloured one into a hole, smiling she turned on Estelle.12
“Your turn my sweet” putting on a cheeky evil voice she waited for her next turn. 13
I just sat there, wondering I didn't know if I could forget this dream, it was so real, yet so vivid, but Drey was probably right, I’ve had lots of weird dreams that never made sense. 14
I sat there watching them play pool for a bit, slowly I slid down and laid on my tummy, ‘sleep’ I thought, I was so tired all of a sudden...15
‘I opened my eyes, a meadow stood in front of me, I felt the lush green grass under my bare feet, looking down, I saw nothing, I wasn't wearing anything, redness filled my cheeks as I tried to cover myself up, looking around I couldn't see anyone, relaxing a little I looked behind me and there she was, her black hair waving in the wind that I hadn't noticed was there, she was wearing a plain white dress, almost see through, her blue eyes seemed dull almost sad. Looking at me her mouth opened, then closed, she repeated this five times. 16
“What are you saying?” I asked, I knew this was a dream but it felt wonderful at the moment and I wanted it to keep going. Then all of a sudden she was right in front of me, now I could see the tears stirring in her eyes.17
“Bumble Bee” she whispered so softly I could hardly hear it, I let out a slight breath, it seemed to push her back, slowly with every breath I let out she drifted, almost like she was floating, the good feeling was leaving with her and I got a pain in my stomach. I held my breath for a moment and she stopped, a look of confusion crossed my face'.18
startled I sat up sweat dripping from my forehead, what had just happened?
