"Conal, Conal wake up! Conal please, wake up come on! You can not stay asleep you need to wake up, this is not the time for sleep!" Said the whispering noise more clearing in Conal's ears while he slowly started to open his eyes. He swallowed hard as he tried to keep his eyes open, but dried up blood was in his eyes keeping them sealed shut and it hurt to try and open his eyes. There was a sharp pain on the top of his head like his skull had been bashed in almost.
"Who are you? Who is there?" Conal growled as he tried to stand up. But he found himself being held down, but a bunch of heavy chains holding him down onto a huge golden tablet. Surrounding him on the tablet was carvings in it that was the symbol of each God and Goddess including the one that made his stomach feel like he was being stabbed when he was to read it. Phantom, was it.
"Well look who finally decided to wake up!" Snarled Akil in a disgusted tone of voice as he walked up out of the shadows.
"Were you the one whispering?" Asked Conal sarcastically as he tried to stand up still, but the chains would not loosen.
"Whispering? I just now arrived you stupid idiot! Why would I whisper I have nothing to hide?" Akil snarled.
Conal rolled his eyes as he turned his head and looked away from Akil. "That's right, you were always the perfect one when it came to being around father! Oh, and by the way your insults are so moronic!"
"Do not insult me! I will rip your throat out of you, you moronic bastard!" Akil snapped as he turned around so that his back was facing Conal.
"I am so scared, I almost jumped right out of my fur." Conal smirked as he just lay there not even trying to move at the moment.
"You know, you are just in time. Phantom is about to return, and all of this planet, you, and your pathetic excuse of a pack will all be destroyed!" Akil laughed evilly to himself as he looked at Conal and then looked away.
"What?" Conal said with a shocked expression on his face. "You are lying! Phantom can not be returning, he was locked away for good. The humans, and other wolves everyone all insured that there would be no way he would ever get out! He-"
"No, no no! They said he was locked up and that there was little chance of him returning! They never said he would never be able to be brought back!"
"That can not be though, it just can not be..." Conal growled as he closed his eyes and turned his head best he could to not be able to look at his brother.
"Well it is brother and you better believe it!"
"If you bring Phantom back we all will be killed, you are not living in reality here!" Conal shouted at him as he looked back at him.
Akil snarled.
"Wake up and smell the fresh air brother! Your letting it take hold of you!"
"I am letting nothing take hold of me! And you are the one who is not living in reality! You keep taking lies and fill peoples' minds with them saying lies about our family past!"
"I do what I half to for the safety of the pack and-"
"Liar! You lie to them all for the safety of the pack, you do not! You lie to them cause you just want to not fear what they will think of you to know what really is the truth of the war! Just cause barely anyone served those days, does not mean you can hide the truth of what was going on! And what still is going on!"
"Do not try putting words in my mouth and things in my mind that are not true!" Conal tried to stand up, the chains were heavy and tried to hold him down, but he continued to apply force to try and get up anyway. If I can force the chains up hard enough, they might just break so I do not half to worry about them... Stupid brother of mine trying to make me out as the week one... Great now I am getting off subject here... Grrr! Conal snarled as the chains were only being driven down into him the harder he pushed on them. His plan was backfiring at him!
"It is the truth is it not?" Akil snarled, and his eyes flashed a bright red. "Your turning down the truth, Phantom is our father! We are both bred for war, and to become a god ourselves! When we were pups we knew this all, you were the one the Gods and Goddesses wanted, I was the one father preferred cause I was better prepared for it all! There was no battle that father tried to protect the pack, he knew better then to waste his time with it! He died doing what he preferred to do and what was more important and that was to gain power! Better the God, the more powerful you are so the more you can command in life to be more prepared and have less people trying to take your power from you... you stupid brother of mine!"
"I am not stupid, and yes that is what happened. Not a perfect description of it, but at least you got part of the idea!" Conal observed as he growled. "Power is not important, and Phantom was power mad! He destroyed himself going for it! You are doing the same thing to yourself too, you will end up having the same fate as he did, if not worse!"
"I do not believe that crap of a lie! I do not think anyone would fall for it. Power is very important, and I do not really give a shit about what happens to this pathetic planet you and everyone calls home. After all, we are not from this planet, you know our kind come from another, we just ended up mutating this planet into what it is today by our genes and viruses from back home until our kind ended up calling it home and stayed here!"
"Fuck you!"
"Hahaha! You think I am going to roll over and forget the most important parts of our history on this stupid planet! I plan on bringing back Phantom, our father and helping him to destroy this stupid place which he was right to want to do in the first place!"
"You fool of a brother! You will kill us all, Even yourself!" Conal moaned as he spoke trying to push up on the chains to get himself loose still. He did not want his brother killing himself trying to destroy the planet because of Phantom.
Akil said nothing as he just let out a low growl and turned, taking off running. He did not look back at Conal, and Conal did not look at him he just continued to try and get loose. Akil could hear the growls from his brother and the clinging of the chains on the golden tablet he was on. He smirked evilly as he growled running. He could hear as Conal moaned and growled and something inside of his heart gave him a sharp pain as he listened to his brother nothing else while he ran. The noise slowly faded away the farther he ran and he felt regret for leaving him back there and doing all this, but he also felt rage and something inside him pushing him on. I am doing this world a favor by destroying it, this place is destroying its self anyway. If I do not destroy it, it will destroy itself with time. Filthful place!
Akil stopped at the edge of a cliff and lifted his head and howled out to the stars to bring back the life he once had as a pup. His father yes would probably kill him if given the right opportunity to do so, but he could truly care less what could happen to him. He really was one to not care if he was to die or not and really doubted that there was one wolf that would be willing to challenge him to a fight to the death. The rumors that filled his ears made him laugh when he was to hear that others expected that his brother was the one who was meant to kill him.
"When will he be released, Sir?" Reaper said walking up out of the darkness behind Akil.
Akil remained silent releasing a low growl at Reaper.
"Sir, did you hear me?"
Akil nodded for a moment, but still stayed silent as he thought to himself about what he was doing.
"Well, Sir?"
"He has returned already, do you not since his presence on the land?" Akil smirked evilly as he let out a low laugh.
"Uh... Yes, Sir... What do you wish for me to do then?"
"Go tell Sargent Brooks to gather the pack for battle. Tonight, we shall go to battle." Akil smirked even more as he lifted his head to another echoing howl as the plants around him died quickly and black smoke flowed from his mouth like fog. It went down and surrounded him at his feet as his eyes glowed a blood red color. Reaper did not question his orders and just turned and took off running to do as Akil had told him. Akil smirked as he looked back at Reaper leaving and thought of Conal and the others dieing. His smirk faded as he turned and walked off in the other direction and he lied down in his den and sighed deeply. He closed his eyes as a blood poured from his eyes like tears. "I am sorry my brother, I am doing what is right. You will see that one day!" Akil was not one to cry, but that night he could not hold it back. Bloody tears fell from his eyes while he tried to silent his whimpering so that no one could hear him. Thunder clouds rolled in over the land and lightning struck the sky while the lightning bolt patch of fur of his glowed a bright red. He could not sleep as he felt his rage and blood boiling in him while all he could concentrate on was the thought of Phantom being back and the war he was awaiting to cause in a few hours. But as that time flew by he could not get rest like he had set out for, he just pushed aside the bloody tears and howled for a minute then took off running to get his pack.
He stopped in front of his pack. Dozens of wolves growling and baring their fangs at him, while they kept their heads and tails low ready for battle, fearing the power of their alpha, ready to see the end of the world they are so disgusted with, and the beginning of a new one. A better world as they had been told.
