Child of Darkness

He had been walking through the castle most of the day it seemed like. Where in the world was his lover at? Knowing him probably on the alter again. He had been up there a lot as of late looking at the world's heart shaped moon with their now two year old son. A small sigh escaped the Berserker's lips. The mighty Saix, number VII of the organization, as he brought a hand to his large stomach. IV's science and experiments had allowed the two of them to bring into the world their first child, their darling son Xen. 1

Two years later and now Saix was expecting their second child in just a few short weeks. He had just recently woken up from a small nap and was now looking for his lover and son. He walked down the hall of his chamber to the Addled Impasse and heard tiny giggles and smiled. Xen's laughter followed by Xemnas's pleasing chuckle. Walking up the stairs of the tower he stopped at the entrance seeing their two year old son in his father's arms raised in the air as the two year old waved his arms happily. 2

Something about that little scene seemed to make a few tears well up in his eyes as he watched Xemnas lower the boy and hold him as Xen almost instinctivly lay his head against his father's chest. Saix smiled some moving a bit of his blue hair from his face. Xen had been born from Xemnas, for fear that the boy would cause to much pain, to Saix and put him in a berserk state that he wouldn't be able to return from. So Xemnas had carried the boy to term without complications and given birth to the boy on top the Alter of Naught while Saix had delivered their son into the world.3

Now it was Saix's turn, though he was a little worried of what was to come. Even though his pregnancy had gone realitivly smooth these past eight soon to be nine months in another week or so, he was still afraid of how calm he could manage to stay. Lucky for him Xen had a berserk ability of his own and had been working hard with the both of them to learn to control it, so that it was no longer triggered by the moon. 4

So maybe Xen could help during the birth of his younger sibling. He had to smile though as the little two year old nuzzled against his 'mother'. His silver and blue hair swaying a bit with his movements. Tan skin would nearly blend in with his 'mother's' own skin color as a mix of gold and amber eyes slowly closed as sleep took the little toddler's mind. Saix merely continued to watch and smiled seeing Xemnas place a gentle hand on the back of Xen's head and slowly danced with the boy in his arms rocking him to sleep. 5

Going through the terrible two's with Xen hadn't been all that bad, other than when the boy started to act out, or act up, when he got cranky and needed a nap. Then all heck would break loose if you so much as even mentioned the world nap in front of him. So after the first time that happened the two devisied a clever plan. whoever was watching him or spending time with him would take him to the alter two hours before his nap mind you, and just play with him, no nap mentioned just two hours of mother son, or father son time, the boy just naturally fell asleep in his parents arms after a little rocket ride or an airplane ride. 6

Xemnas as of late had taken over nap time since Xemnas insisted that Saix not overexert himself with lifting Xen and harming the baby. Saix had to agree though and just watched as Xemnas rocked their son to sleep seeing his lover lay his head on his son's own head. Once Saix was sure the toddler was asleep he slowly walked out to the alter and smiled walking over. 7

"Better enjoy this while we can huh?" Saix asked placing a small kiss on his lover's lips as he gently stroked Xen's head.8

"Yes, because soon, we'll have our hands full with two children." He said returning the kiss. 9

Saix gave a small smile and took Xemnas's free hand gently making sure he could support the weight of Xen before placing Xemnas's hand on his large stomach. "Feel that?" He asked smiling.10

Xemnas smiled some at the movement inside his lover's stomach and chuckled. "Such a strong child...." He said smiling as the two shared another kiss and walked off the alter to put their son to bed and spend some needed time together.
