Being an Answerist

Hi, I am an answerist. One of the people who answer to all those weird problems you guys send to magazine. Yeah, I’m one of those ‘gurus’ and ‘sis’.1

Some people think that I am some ultimate wise one who has all the answers and found jobs in a dumb magazine. Well, if I was a guy with so much knowledge, I would have been sitting on the top of a mountain with my back to you, speaking with a slow pace that you would probably get bored and run away. Nah, too hard.2

Being an answerist can be pretty challenging. I get all sorts of problems. One of the toughest problem yet was:3

“Dear answerist,4

I am in a big problem all because of my mom. My mom is a divorced woman with an okay job. It doesn’t fetch much money but we can live comfortably if I cut on my necessities i.e. make-up, hairdo, perfume, MP3 Player, DVD player etcetera. Some time back I fell in love with a gorgeous guy ‘E’. I convinced him that he loved me too. One night, my mom told me she was going out with this millionaire guy A. I didn’t care much then. Some time later, ‘A’ and my mom announced at our house that were going to get married. Mom was all smiles. I though I had better see the kids who were going to be my brothers and sisters. And guess what; It was ‘E’! I flew into a rage and had a big fight with my mom and ‘A’. There can only be one marriage, me and ‘E’, or mom and ‘A’. I don’t think it’s fair that mom should get married to the father of my love! I loved him first! ‘E’ says that we should let our parents get married, we’ll still be together then as siblings. But I don’t think so! This is so unfair! ‘A’ and mom don’t want to leave each other. Why is it all on me? Help!5

Man, is that a troubling situation. As far as I think, A and Lovely’s mom should get married. E is right. But Lovely is not listening. Help me out with this problem!
