Drama at West High; Chapter 1: At Home

Narrator: It was a beautiful morning. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The only problem was that it was Monday. The worst day of the week and nobody knew this better than Marissa.1

Marissa: Uh!! Where is it?! I just gotta find it!!2

Kevin: What are you looking for Rissa?3

Marissa: How many times do I have to tell you? Don’t call me that Kevin!! And if you really must know, I’m looking for my new T-shirt, jeans, socks, and shoes. You haven’t seen them have you?4

Kevin: No I haven’t seen you’re new clothes. But… I think I saw… oh what do you care what I saw.5

Marissa: Tell me what you saw now or else I’ll give you a knuckle sandwich for you’re breakfast!! (Shaking fist at older brother.)6

Kevin: Sure you’ll give you’re brother who’s 6 years older than you a knuckle sandwich that hurts so much he’ll be forced to tell you what you want him to tell you.7

Marissa: Fine I won’t do that but I will tell mom about that party you threw last week WITHOUT HER PERMISSION while SHE WAS OUT.8

Kevin: Well when you put it that way I guess I don’t mind telling you. Okay I saw Jason going through you’re closet last night while you were taking you’re bath. When I asked him why he said that I’d see in the morning.9

Marissa: JAAAAAAAAAASOOOOOOOOOON!!10

Jason: Yes what would you like my dearest sister?11

Marissa: Don’t even pull that with me this morning!! Now give me my clothes right now!!12

Jason: Uh… uh… uh… what are you talking about Marissa?13

Marissa: Don’t play dumb!! Just give me my new clothes right now!! Kevin told me everything so don’t play dumb!! Give them to me now or I’ll tell mom about you CHANGING YOU’RE REPORT CARD last week!!14

Jason: Kevin you are such a traitor!! Here take em. (Throws clothes to Marissa.)15

Kevin: Dude she did the same thing to me with the party. That’s the only reason I told her.16

Jason: You are way too good at black mail Marissa!! Who taught you?17

Marissa: That’s my little secret. Maybe I’m just a natural. Maybe somebody taught me. That’s for me to know and for you not to find out.18

Kevin: We will find out some day you know and then we will totally pummel that person.19

Marissa: In that case I don’t mind telling you. Let’s just say they both start with C and O.20

Kevin: Now who do we know that has names that start with C and O?21

Jason: I have no idea.22

Marissa: Sheeeeeeesh!! No wonder you had to change you’re report cards!! It’s Cole and Cody your own brothers!!23

Kevin: Ohhhhhhhh… Hey!!24

Jason: Yea hey!!25

Marissa: Just go pummel them while I get dressed!!26

Narrator: So while Marissa got dressed Jason and Kevin went and gave Cole and Cody nuggies and all that other brotherly love stuff.
