He stood like an ancient, massive redwood, and raised his impressive, expensively and artfully tattooed bare arms from his much-too-small muscle shirt, like a shimmering olympian god conjuring new stars, hopeful some female would notice his true wisdom and skill of the woodsman — a spiritual, natural, burley man. The chubby, slightly roughed-up field mouse sitting on the toe of his boot trembled and glistened, hoping the angry grizzly standing behind him, her playful cub now safely hidden, would do just that. 5
