The Debt (prolouge)

What did we get ourselves into when we agreed to fight? 12 Pirate ships against the 150 ships of the Royal Armada. This was crazy. At least it would be a quick death.We held our ground as the armada advanced. I heard the captain yell one of his famous sayings.
"Dying is the day worth living for!" he yelled to us but most did not hear because of
the storm that was rolling in. The clouds were black and soon they covered the sun and all around us it seemed as if night had come. A couple minutes later I heard the boom of a cannon.

Please tell me what you think and if I should write a second chapter and so on!
