Names of Myth

Alright well heres some cool names and I put a short description by each to give you an idea behind what they were...1

Mythology Names:2

Death Coach- In Irish folklore each time the Banshee would wail a person would die, and from the skies a headless man riding a coach, carried by two pitch black horses, would collect the souls of the Banshee's victims.3

Bozaloshtsh- These were sorrowful spirits, who constantly cried, and their screams were the announcement of death. They were common in European mythology.4

Alve of the Earth- Alves were or Norse folklore, and were groups of deceased spirits that would inhabit the land they died on. Small sacrifices were often given to them. They later became known as Earth Spirits5

cabyll-ushtey- Manx water horse that would rip apart cattle, stampede horses, and steal children6

Boto- a mythological dolphin that lives in rivers, that is thought to become a handsome charming young man at night, with many woman whom wish to be with him.7

These aren't really fantasy, but I thought they fit well. I hope you like them, and if nothing else you learned a bit more about mythological creatures!

    Amazing! A lot of these were really neat to read about. I have heard of them some of them. I can't help but think the cabyll-ushtey thing sounds an awfully lot like a chupacabra... It's something people here mention a lot, for some reason. XD Anyway, this was a really great read, and good luck to you!

    they are very interesting but the only name i really like is bozaloshtsh it sounds pretty cool
