Untitled [New Moon]

Don’t do this to me1

Don’t turn and walk away2

Leave me stranded in the darkness3

No hope left to be found or heard of4

As I faint to the sound of the rustling trees5

Blackness closing in, digging in deeper6

I fall into unconsciousness leaving nothing behind7

My memories of you will slowly fade8

Your touch, so cold9

Your face, so beautiful 10

Your smell, so wonderful11

Your eyes, so mesmerizing12

And the way you made me feel13

Nothing I've ever felt before14

Loved unconditionally forever15

What’s that?16

Is it just my imagination playing tricks on me again?17

Or is it birds singing their morning song?18

Faint light is coming back to me19

Something too bright and colorful to be true20

No strength is left in me but the weakness and hopelessness21

A distant sound is baring my name22

Calling through the wind and rain23

I know I should answer24

But the question is can I?25

Can I come into reality again as normal?26

Will I be able to breathe and stand tall?27

Or if when I do stand, will I fall?28

Closer and clearer the sound is coming29

Hands grab my body lifting me up30

A haze covered the face leaving me to wonder31

"I found her!" the man called out32

The numbness soon sat in33

Covering every inch of my body and soul34

Leaving nothing to waste35

I felt as if I were dead36

Unable to sense or feel the world around me37

For months no sound was left to be heard38

Like nothing ever happened39

But the words remain he spoke to me40

"Don't do anything reckless and stupid"41

I'm tired of keeping all these promises42

Especially when they were already broken43

I'm gonna set myself free44

Break the promise and ride45

With the wind in my hair46

The adrenalin racing in my veins47

And the words forced in my head48

Just as they were said and meant49

"Don't do anything reckless and stupid."50

I stand back, cross my arms, and smile51

"If only he could see!"52

*If you've read atleast part of New Moon then you'll know what part I wrote about. I wrote this poem/short story in Bella's point of view along with my own. 53
