Time storm chapter one

Do you believe in past lives? well i didn't until the day i met jared methven.it was a normal december day the robin outside my window hid his head under his wing. on my way to school i felt that someone or something was following me. i must have looked over my sholder 50 times. Before I reached the school gates i caught a glimpse of him. He was tall with black hair and he was wearing a blue jacket with black trousers. 1

In school I met my friends Karen and Emma they where waiting for me by my locker. As I walked over to them they started filling me in about what they did over the weekend. Karen had gone over to England to do some shopping with her mum and Emma had gone to a family reunion in Wales. I did homework i was always behind on handing things in I couldn't help it that was just the way I was. As the bell rang for the first class i rolled my eyes we had English what a bore all the pupils that Mr Feeney thought hated him he was such a prick! All we did for an hour was stare at the board and take down notes he kept telling us that it was important to pay attention for our exams.2

science was next this was our talking section the teacher Mr Irvine was never in class we thought that he was having an affair with the assistant Miss Goodall. I told my friends about the boy I saw outside my friends where palinode they kept saying that I had an admirer or something else. I told them what he looked like and how I felt walking to school this morning. They just laughed I knew they would. They never took anything seriously. they then called over James the classes most glorious guy over to talk then to my embrassesment told him about the guy I saw outside that had been following he looked at me and asked if I was serious I nodded weakly. more was added on to my embarrassment when he called over two of his friends Kyle and Ryan he told them what my friends had told him they all looked at me I wanted to crawl under the table and die! 3

James sat down on a stool beside the table and folded his arms and said "do you want us to walk you home just in case this guy comes up to you?"4

My face was going red Kyle and Ryan nodded their heads they fought that it was a good idea soon everyone knew in the class. I told them that I was a big girl and that I could look after myself. The disappointment in their eyes, I guess I spoiled their fun. it wasn't long until people started coming up to me and asking if I was ok and saying that they would walk home with me just in case. My class mates always took things to far I had to explain to them that I would be fine and that it was just a rumour that got out of control. 5

I was glad that the day was over as I went to my locker James was waiting for me. "There you are" he said 6

"Why where you looking for me?" I replied 7

"Yes I was I have decided to walk you home."8

"Oh am lucky then."9

"Yes you are I’ve been wondering if you would like to go with me to the disco on Friday night?" he asked.10

"I would love to but I can't I’ve got something else to do but thanks for asking."11

"Why what have you to do that night?"12

"My old friend is coming over from England and I haven't seen him in ages."13

He looked hurt, he then said that he had better get going and he turned the other way and walked off. I did feel bad about saying no but reader if you had known James as I have you wouldn't go with him either. He was the sort of person who would bet up a guy that looked the wrong way at him and plus he wasn't my type. 14

I was alone now. That feeling came back again and I started to walk faster to get home as I turned the corner to get to the next street the guy jumped out and scared me half to death. I went to run the other way but he held my arm as I turned to face him he started to speck fastly that he was sorry for frightening me and that he did not mean to do so but it was the only way to get my attention. I was now calm he got me to sit down and he started to tell me who he was, why he was here, what he needed to talk to me for and that he wanted to ask me if I would return with him to his world. I was suspicious of him and thought it odd that he would come up to me in broad daylight to tell me this but something in his eyes made me believe him so I said that I would.15

He started again to talk fast saying that I had no idea of what this meant to him and his people. I had to laugh at him. He thanked me dearly and then told me that he had to go home and tell the others. After he had left I was approached by Ryan he asked me if that was the nut that was following me this morning I nodded. He looked worried but I told him that everything would be ok. But he said that it wasn't as he had bumped into James and that he told him that I had blew him off. I laughed I couldn't help it. I said goodbye to Ryan and made the rest of the way home with the thought of what had happened today. As I reached the metal gate outside my house I had a since that something bad was about to happen. as I walked up the path to the front door I noticed a bunch of flowers on the doorstep as I bent down to pick them up I read the card they where from James asking if I would reconsider Friday night. I answered the question in my mind saying no! As I stood up and reached for the door handle a sudden pain landed in my head making me drop everything to the ground. I held my head with my hands and tried not to scream with the pain. Out of the corner of my eye I saw what looked like accent warriors dancing around me and was singing a chant that I couldn't work out. It was over just as soon as it had started. I looked around myself unsure of what to do next. 16

I quickly gathered up the stuff I had dropped and again reached for the door handle. As I grabbed hold of it and turned it slowly to open the door I didn't notice that the living room was gone the only room that my muter was so proud of because she decorated it herself was gone. I walked inside and was surprised when I started falling I was unable to stop until I landed into pond of freezing cold water. My hair clung to my face. In the background I heard people laughing behind me as I turned round slowly, the leaves that had fallen from the trees where carried lightly by the breeze that had brushed past my cheek like a kiss. Then from the dense forest emerged three men one of them Jared who had a smirk across his face as if saying that he was proud of what he had achieved. The second smiled with redemption and his eyes where filled with what looked like pity he seemed to have the features of a beast. The third was filled with pits of laughter and he reminded me of someone that I knew. But I couldn't place my finger on it. I didn't catch their names as Jared introduced them to me. As I made my way closer to the bank, Jared took off his cloak that he was wearing and handed it to me. 17

I shivered with the cold and wrapped myself within the though woollen material. As I was lead towards a castle that was a few metres away from the pond. As I walked I remembered my bag that had been taken with me as I ran back towards the pond I found it lying beside I rock. As I picked it up something had caught my eye as I looked closer it disappeared. I went back when Jared had called my name. When I ran back I nearly fell over a little girl that was sitting on the ground. I made sure that she was ok before I continued on. she started to cry so I looked in my bag for my good luck charm that I always carried around with me it wasn't much just a little bear that my mum had bought me from china. The little girl smiled and ran off towards her mother and told her what I had given her. As I turned towards the entrance to the castle Jared waited for me impatiently.18
