I was dancing with Alex when she asked to see my fangs. As I bared them at her, I felt a sharp pain travel its way from my mouth to my forehead. I swiftly grabbed my head and walked to the wall. I sat down as Peter came up to me. I ignored what he said and just took the bottle of Vodka he was holding. I chugged the bottle and leaned on him.1
Mika left and came back with two more bottles of Vodka. Peter took them and added something to them. He handed me one bottle and I chugged it. Peter handed me the second bottle and it was empty in seconds. Thirty minutes later, I felt hammered.2
"Pete? That's your name, right? Can you take the braces off? They hurt! My fangs are pounding! And my parents...? I need a home," I said, my speech probably slurred.3
"Yes Brendon. My name is Pete. Just come with us and you can get those braces off. About the home, I would like you to live with me. I am your father after all, he said. I was hearing everything he was saying I just couldn't comprehend it all. I didn't realize the little details most sober people do.4
I slowly got to my feet and swayed my way to a back room, avioding the walls as much as possible. When I entered the room, I dropped to the ground with a loud bang. Aven came up to me and told me to open my mouth. I was hesitant but I did what she told me to. She put her hand on my mouth and told me not to move. I was scared so I struggled. Alex grabbed my legs and held them down while Mika held down my arms and Pete held my head still and in place. Aven put her hand to my mouth and closed her eyes. In a flash, she was away from me and the braces were gone. I could feel no metal rubbing against my lips.5
Aven stood up and looked around. Alex and Mika let me go along with Pete. I placed my head in Pete's lap and blacked out. I woke up a day later in an unfamiliar house.
