1. Do many people in England have lawn gnomes? Or do they have other lawn decorations?1

No. I am from Bedford (which is a medium size town) and the only lawn decorations i have even seen are statues of cats, and ducks. (i know it sounds a bit stupid, but thats the truth )2

2. What do most people use as transportation there? Do they use buses alot?3

3. What do you call school children go to? We call it elementery.8

If they are really young its called foundation (well, it is at my school )9

4. What is the formal way to refer to a mother? Do people ever say mum?10

All the time. In fact i doubt i have ever heard someone refer to their mum as "mother"11

5. If someone wanted to learn how to play the piano, would they get private lessons or go to a bigger place, like a school type thing?12

Its raining most of the time, no matter what session 15

People do just ware jeans and t-shirts. Or just something comfortable. 19

Nope, its mainly tarmac or for REALLY old towns sometimes cobble. 23

    I'm actually from England. I don't remember much of it though. It's always fasinating how countries are so similiar and so different at the same time.

    not all busses are late. In laverstock(outskirts of Salsbury) the buses are always on time, and the exchange rate hsa probably changed, but then, it would've done with our stock market the way it is at the moment

    The only thing I really knew about was the one comparing Central Park to Hyde Park.. I've heard about Hyde Park in various things, and the most recent was a book. I really do hope that the rest of it is true, because I really enjoyed reading it. (I looonnggg to go overseas...)
