Individuality, a poem.

Individuality1

There is a fire,
Deep inside of me.
No-one can put it out,
It's my individuality.2

I'm a country girl,
Alas the cowboy hat.
I'm a wacky girl,
And I'm proud of that fact.3

I might be strange,
But I'm certainly not deranged.
I am weird,
But you're not gonna see me change.4

You can say anything you want,
You can't put me down.
You can try anything you want,
But you can't bring me to the ground.5

There's a fire,
deep inside of me.
No-one can put it out,
It's my individuality.

It was good to see a poem that actually attempted to rhyme instead of the freeverse I see a lot.
I liked that you are a country girl instead of the tired cliches that I usually see (I'm different because I wear dark eyeliner, blah, blah, etc.)
Very empowering, but I felt like there could be more. Like the langauge could have gone the extra mile and used more advanced vocabulary.
    Good job!
