I'm actually one of those sheltered people who did not know what a honkey is. You learn something everyday I spose ;P.
Anyways, this was an interesting addition to my contest although it's only one verse. Also I'm not a big music person, so I would've liked it better once I knew the melody I bet xD

I think that is very politcally correct and brings attention to the plights of black slaves and their desperate wishes to return home as expressed through African-American spiritual.
It also sings nicely in the shower.

lol, it was short and I am well aware what a honkey is, since I am one. Though ironically, many whites are unaware what a honkey even is... this was entertaining so thank you for the entry. It actually needs more length but this small portion does have meaning... ^^ well done!
