Well my dear friends, it’s been a long while since Trixie has been around, she has been on a bit of a nice long holiday.
She has been doing some of the things she always wanted to try, like painting, writing, and
yes even some singing.
But my friends she decided it was time to get back to doing what she does the best, getting into mischief of course.
She has always wanted to see a jail cell up close, so let’s see what kind of trouble our
little mouse can get into in jail.5

It was a beautiful sunny day, on her scheduled visit to the county jail.
She arrived just in time to have breakfast with all of the inmates.
Well Trixie heard they were having her favorite, ham and Swiss cheese omlettes,
She raced for the dining hall, but she didn’t look where she was going and she knocked over a poor porter carrying a huge pile of stacked dishes.
“ Oh I’m so sorry, ” she cried,
“ Now, there, there, ” said the old porter calmly, “ No harm done, why the rush,
missy ? ” He asked.
“ I don’t want to miss any of the sandwhiches.”
“ Ha,ha,ha,” he laughed. “ In this place we never run out of anything, because we always make lots for out boys.”7

After breakfast, Trixie thought she’d take in an exercise class.
So she found one and joined right in, but the inmates were afraid of mice if you can imagine
that and they all started running around screaming like banshes. When she walked in the exercise room.8

Well this is too much for me to handle today,
I’m going home.
So she quickly left with her tail tucked under her tummy.
