Traveling a road of unchallenged journey's,1
long twisted blemishes on a sphere infinitely 2
minuet amidst the universe.3
Questioning why this exploration began,4
life's obstacles manipulating inner growth,5
one's soul shouting out to be heard,6
Who speaks from within?7
Whispers fill ears with secrets of footprints,8
embedded along this trail permanently marking9
trials and tribulations, endured and conquered,10
Where are they now?11
A guess perhaps drawn by conclusions plucked12
from wildflowers travelers have passed or echo's13
overheard.14
Butterflies brush past my cheek; as if asking,15
What are you looking for? What are you hoping to find?16
as they delicately breeze by, gliding effortlessly with the wind.17
Miles disappear into a twilight night sky,18
never existing as I search for these answers.19
Excavating inner desires of self exploration,20
finding those missing puzzle pieces of gems21
when this pilgrimage ends.

Wow
This was deep and really well-written! I LOVE your word choice, it's so beautiful! The imagery in this poem is fantastic, and it really makes me think... about what I'm gonna do with my life, what I've done with my life. Gorgeous!
