Name: Audric Beaumont1
Races: An Immortal human2
Actual age: Born in 17293
Age appears to be: 244
Eyes: Lightest of blue (almost blends into the white of his eyes)5
Skin: Almost sickly white6
Hair: White and sliver 7
Tattoos and Markings (any battle scars go here): At the age of 5 he got scared on his back (its faded now) 8
Clothing: Old world 18th century clothing. His usual attire consists of black Breeches and white Leggings or Spatterdashes, White ruffled shirt and Cravat, Light and dark blue Waistcoat made out of silk and knee high medium brown leather boots.9
Height:5'9" (Fairly tall for the time period) 10
Weight: 141 LBS (under weight for a man of this height)11
Physical build: Small Frame12
Dominant Hand: Right13
Alignment: He does what he wants regardless of human rules and standards. If he needs to he would kill to get what he wants or needs. So to him self there is no good or evil only survival.14
Equipment: His possessed and enchanted violin15
Weapons: Music16
Natural Special Abilities (like sharp senses, shape shifting):Charm and Immortality (Lived long enough to see that empires become ruins and that still any strong friendship with enough time is pointless as the latest fashion). 17
Magic: When playing his violin those who hear its music will slowly die as they freeze to death from the inside out. The violin takes the things such as youth, energy, and the soul and allows it to become part of the owner's immortality. The violin is alive and it feeds off of those who wield it and those who wield it feed off of others around them. If Audric gets hurt the violin will give him energy to heal his wounds and vice versa will occur with or with out consent of its owner. If this occurs then Audric will and must kill again to renew energy.18
Personality: Some times he can be charming at least until he finds it no longer convenient. After all when your immortal it is mighty sad to loose those close to your heart. So he took time to remove that factor. So please don't expect any favors if you cross his path because pleading with him will really have no effect. On the bright side though Audric is still human and thus still suffers from hunger, lack of water, and lack of a shelter and he is still prone to fall in love (with a woman). 19
Background: Audric is human in every way except mentally and so his birth too, was normal in the year of our lord of 1729. Born to a violinist Father and a well to do merchant's daughter in the Country of Switzerland he grew up around music and prosperity. Tragedy hits his house at the death of his mother. His mother dies at child birth due to complications and since Audric's older brother of nine years was close to her so he blamed Audric for her death. Due to this Audric's brother Calix drifted apart from him until finally they stopped talking to each other until Calix was the age of 19. The death of their mother sealed their relationship, but If only she had lived she would of bonded the two siblings closer together. So Calix left shortly after and walked into the wilderness, and Audric has never seen him again. 20
During the period of the death of both Audric's and Calix's mother and a few years after Calix's departure Audric's father took it upon him self to bond with his youngest son with the only means he knew how. He taught Audric how to play the violin. Though Audric by the age of 11 was good he never became a prodigy and his mother's inheritance inevitably ran out. He and his father left to live in shabbier dwellings of a cabin in the country side. They lived like this for a number of years as Audric traveled to close cities to gain money for playing the violin. It helped support his father who by the age of 46 was slowing down because of arthritis. His father though did from time to time go to the neighboring cities and play to earn extra money from the exquisite economy of 1747 . One day Audric's father set out because he made promise to a few friends to play at a wedding that was being held indoors due to the freezing weather of winter. While preparing to leave Audric begged his father not to depart because of his poor health and because that a storm that was coming. His father though was hard headed and said that this engagement was important to him. So he left but it did not take long of the storm to hit to cause white out conditions that blinded a person from an inch away. 21
Panicked Audric ran out of the cabin and he knew the way his father was going. Under normal circumstances Audric would wait until it was over but his father was ill and could not travel far enough away from their home. Audric shivered as he trudged up a snowy embankment of a small hill. The storm gathered its crystal fragments and threw it within the dusk's air. It was getting dark or at least that is what it seemed. The conditions worsened as the winds howled through the forest that bordered the small shack. Each step Audric took was becoming painful as the snow melted through his clothes and evaporated. His lips where turning blue and his brown hair allowed ice to accumulate. So cold so his body shivered. So cold that his legs gave out. So cold that his hand became numb and showed signs of the blackness of the poudrins. He got up only to travel a few more feet. He did not even know if it was night or day. Even still he did not even know if he was in the forest or near his house. He did not even know if his father was even alive. Doubt filled him and he collapsed, but this time he was lucky. For his knee hit a sold object not unlike solid flesh of a being or animal. It could be his father he thought with a glimmer of hope. Perhaps he was not dead if this thing was. His brown eyes strained to see past the white out as he dug up with his hands a frozen body. It was unidentifiable as its skin shrunk to its skeletal body. Its face pulled back in a grimace as the red of frozen blood gave the natural gray white tinge of death a more impossing color. Within its frozen hands it held an object of peculiar fascination. A violin of intense beauty and style, and some how it managed to prove this within the conditions of the storm. Audric despite the fact he was dying took hold of the instrument and robbed the dead of it treasure. Some how as he took the wooden instrument within his right hand it pulsed with the rhythm of his heart and gave him a new life, a new gift, and a new goal and he laughed with glee. As a man of so much beauty and so much understanding became something else. A puppet of another force, and of another god. His hair became white and his skin became pale. While his eyes drained of the earthly brown to be replaced by the coldness of frozen ice. No one was there, and no one could remember how he got back to safety, but now I suppose it did not matter. Because some thing that day did die it was the sanity, the happiness and the goodness of once a decent man. All that remains is not human just an empty shell, a shell that devotes him self to that of his master. A pawn to his instrument that was made to kill. Though I suppose none of his past victim's knew that. That's why I suppose they called it the violin of Audric Beaumont. The story though does not stop there he lived in his beloved country until the French invaded in 1798. In which he left with the treasures of his past victims and friends.

I also forgot to add that you did not read the rules. You must re-read the rules, for, if you do not in two days you will be DQed.

I have never seen a character profile like this before. A few centries back, but nonetheless, a good entry.
Quite the unique style in making him kill you with the magic of music. Well, "Music Magic".
I appreciate you for entering this into my contest. Good luck. -
I remember reading about her before in a previous contest and being captured by the depth and beauty that went into creating such a cheriable, intruging character.
I think you have well awnsered my question: what inspired the idea for the story: contact me Via Im for this- well to awnser, in mre detail if you wish.
Thank you for entering
beautiful work here.

/So to him self there is no good or evil only surviv[a]l [typo]/. That is a pretty good/bad foundation to build one's existance on.
/slowly die as they freeze to death from the inside out/ That is pretty damn terrifying way to die.

have you ever thought about entering an rp group
-
-
Yes my character is in a Rp group in AP: The land of Niatha. So far there is a war going on, and a group called the brotherhood of eternal winter which is a religion based soly for the thing that resides within the violin. Right now I just gave those active in Niatha hints about how the violin came to be. Its alot of fun because I am giving my character more depth as well as making "her the spirit/demon/god that resides within Audric tobe more minipulative. It is also funto see one of my fellow Rpers is slowly becomming addicted to "her" (The god/demon thing) power as he played the violin once. Really its really fun right now. If you are intrested you should join.
