The water that falls1
On these shower walls2
Looks at me strange3
It knows something I don’t4
The twirling breeze5
That ruffles the trees6
Whispers deep secrets7
Tells me nice things8
A crow that flies9
Says the breeze lies10
They keep something11
I should know12
The table that sits13
Creaks and cricks14
Screaming at me15
In it’s discomfort; revulsion16
The tiles on the floor17
Tell stories of gore18
But are soon trampled19
By pairs of feet20
Like a floor may be21
This dull ceiling light22
Wants to shine bright23
It won’t talk to me24
It has something to be25
This unhappy home26
Is made of foam27
It won’t bend, it breaks28
With everything inside29
I am broken
Author notes
Not the greatest poem, and the wording isn't what it could be, but I like what it represents.

I like the title! I agree as well that I like what your poem represents. Sometimes there are always things that affect who we are, and the things that we do. Like we learned to talk behind people back since people talked behind our back. that sort of a thing. or try to be so thin because of that celebrity pressure on teenagers. and the slutty, must-be-famous magazines that we see or read tarnished our child innocence at young age.
I like it. A broken house means a broken person.
