This I Swear To You

The singer steps off of the stage and glances into the crowd.  He scans the audience up & down, looking at all the happy faces & realizing that not one of ..... wait, that girl with the flaming red hair in section 107, row 10, seat 7.  There is something about her that he just can't place his finger on, but whatever it is, it is making him want to talk to her. He swears he will by the end of the night. But first, the concert. 1

He gave a stellar performance.  He put his heart and soul into his concert's, but more so this night because of that red-haired angel in section 107.  After the concert, he rushes through the ever deafening crowd to find her, but to no avail. 2

He hops into his limo and heads home, only to dream about his red-haired angel all night long.   He dreams of kissing those lips, soft with Strawberry Passion lip gloss.  He knows the odds of seeing her again are slim to none, but no matter the odds, he will find her if it takes forever. 3

Keily is arriving home after the long, but nonetheless awesome, concert. But something is troubling her.  She swears up and down that Caledon Alixander was looking straight at her, glancing into her eyes. No way she thinks.  He is a hot major star and all she is a student in college with a Mortuary Science soon to be coming. She knew Cal looking at her is nothing more than a fantasy that would never come true except in her dreams.  Speaking of dreams, it is late and she has school in the morning. 4

Admittedly, he is very *handsome* with his luscious brown hair that covers his head would make any woman fall head over heels in love with him.  He captivating green eyes captured her and held her in their grasp forever, were taking her away from reality. She knew she would never have him.  She laid down on her pink canopy bed and fell fast asleep, dreaming of him and those eyes.5

Cal woke up with the early morning rise of the sun, only realizing that he wished he was back in bed.  6

"Damn, those reporters.  Always waking me when all I want is sleep" he says out loud, only hoping they don't hear him.   You see, he had to get up early because he has a appointment with a magazine in order to get his picture put on the front page.  It's like this almost every morning. Being a star is not all that it is cracked up to be.7

Cal saunters over to his dressing closet to pick out an outfit for today.  He has a mission today for he is going to find his red-haired angel.  His first stop....TICKETMASTER!8

The phone is ringing at Ticketmaster when Chelsey, the secretary, picks it up.9

"Ticketmaster!  How May I Help You?"10

"Hi!  This is Cal and I was wondering if you could tell me how many people were at the concert last night?" he asks11

"Well sir, let me see.....there were 156,718 in attendance last night.  Are you looking for someone in particular?" she asks him12

"Yes I am as a matter of fact" he answers 13

"Well do you know his/her name then?"14

"actually I wish I did, but sadly I don't" he responds15

"Well I don't know how I can help you if you don't know their name, but we did have someone leave a wallet behind and maybe that is the person that you are looking for? If you could come by and look at it then maybe that will help you in your search. By the way, I love your song "Forever Mine"!" she adds16

"Well, thank you miss and I will be there in a few minutes to see that wallet." he says as he hangs up the phone. 17

Cal hurries and gets dressed.  Maybe this is the big break that he needed in order to find his angel.  Ever since that first night that he saw her, his heart started doing flip-flops whenever he thought of her.  Hopefully (and prayerfully) this is the girl whose wallet he is about to claim.  That would be the perfect reason to find her and just hold her and tell her his feelings about her.18

Keily is wandering around her house looking for her lost wallet.  She is just about to look in her bathroom (which is where she leaves it most of the time) when the doorbell rings.  She thinks about not answering it, but then decides against it.  She pulls open the front door and is shocked by what she sees standing in front of her.19

"Is your name Keily Adams? If it is, then I have something for you that you left at my concert last night.  Sorry to come out and say this bluntly, but I have admired you since I saw you last night and I was wondering if you would like to go out sometime with me.  I know it sounds a little far fetched right?  But, I can't stop thinking about you and your red-hair,which is actually what brought me to you.  So if you don't mind could I pick you up a say 8:00?" he asks hoping for a positive response.20

"Um....I don't know what to say to that, but YES!  Did you actually think I would say no?  I mean come on, you are Caledon Alixander. Okay breathe Keily.  You won't pass out. Thank you for my wallet and you may come in."  Keily says as she ushers him into her house before the whole neighborhood sees that he is here. 21

The date goes along perfectly and by the time that they climb into Cal's car, he has the burning desire to kiss her.  He doesn't know what it is, but he can't stop it as he leans in for the kiss.  It was....perfect.  Just what he thought it would be. He makes a mental note to himself to protect this woman at all means possible.  He doesn't know how to describe it, but he wants to spend the rest of his life with this woman.22

8 months have passed since Keily and Cal's first date and Keily couldn't be any happier.  Yeah, so she is not quite living a life of poverty but the thing that is killing her is she can't tell any of her friends.  Her friends all say that their husbands/boyfriends are carpenters, and laborers or dentists and her boyfriend has the greatest job of all and she can't even tell them.  It is killing her to know that she can't brag about her boyfriend, whom which she hopes will be a lot more than that in the coming year.23

Cal is at home thinking of Keily and the love that he has gotten from such a marvelous woman. He knows what he wants and he is bound determined to make her his wife.  But how to go about it?  He knows.  But time will only tell if it will work the way he hopes. 24

Cal picks up Keily at 7:30 that night for a lovely drive in the country.  He loves the way she looks in her sheer velour shirt and black sateen pants.  She has her hair in a way that would astound almost any man.  He can't believe that he is actually with this woman.  25

"Keily honey, look in the glove box would you? I need the map I don't know where we are."  he says with a twinkle in his eye26

Keily bends down and opens the glove box looking for the atlas when she sees a black velvet box.  Her heart skips a few beats as she ponders whether to ask him what it is or not.  She pulls out the map and hands it to him. 27

"Keily there is a box in there.  Can you open it for me, Please?" he asks with a smile curling at his mouth.28

She opens the box to reveal a diamond ring, in the shape of a heart. Her heart flutters as she realizes what it about to happen.  29

"Keily, I have money, I have a home, I have a fabulous car, and I have a career that I wouldn't give up for nothing.  The only thing that I don't have is you.  And that is the only thing I want in this whole wide world.  I would give up my voice and career in order to be with you.  Keily, I love you more than life itself and you are so special to me.  I want to protect you from all harm that this world could possibly offer, but in order to do that, I need to know that you love me.  Keily, I am asking you, will you do me the honor of marrying me?" 30

"Yes, I will Cal. That is all I have ever wanted since I first saw you that day on TV.  I knew that it wouldn't happen though because you are a big star and I am just a college student.  But this does prove that dreams do come true. I love you Cal."  Keily says as she plants a kiss on him.31

3 months have passed and it is their wedding day.  He dress flows like a river does.  Her dress is a silk white with rhinestones on the bodice and is made from Versaci.  Her dream wedding is coming true as she is marrying the man she loves.  32

Cal is busy getting ready for his wedding.  He never thought that this day would come, when he wasn't focused on his music career and instead was focused on his future life.  He doesn't think that anything in this world could ruin this perfect day in which he marries the most beautiful woman in the world.  Finally, after time, she will be by his side today and forever.  33

The wedding is over and Keily is now Mrs. Caledon White.  She couldn't be any happier.  Cal comes walking over to her and holds her in his arms,never wanting to let go.  She holds his head in her hands and tells him something that she has held in for far too long. 34

"Cal, I know you love me and I love you but I have to tell you something.  I am pregnant!" she blurts out before realizing what she is doing.35

Cal is shocked and then astounded.  The woman that he loves with all his heart is having a baby.  He is going to be a father.  Could his life get any better? 36

The next nine months pass in a blur and before he knows it, it is 1:17am and his wife is waking him up to tell him that it is time to go, that her contractions are starting to flare up with an even more vengeance than last time.  He rushes through the house getting everything ready for the new baby to come home to.  37

They hop into the car and race to the hospital in order to get her there on time.  The orderly puts her in a birthing room underwater which is what her and Cal decided on.  Within minutes Keily is dilated and ready to give birth to their son.  38

After the birth, the doctor's take away their son, whom they named Jonathan Felix, to get tests done and all that other stuff.  Keily is exhausted.  She falls asleep only to wake up with the doctor and her husband in the room.  39

"Keily, Cal, there is something wrong with your son.  He has what they call Spina Bifida.  It is a disease that affects his lower back.  It will make it harder for him to walk when he gets of age to walk that is.  He may need braces or a walker to help him get around.  I am sorry to tell you, but I am sure that you will love him just the same."  the doctor says as he hands them their first born son.40

Cal is shocked but comforts Keily because he knows that with their love so strong, they can survive anything that comes their way for destiny brought them together and that is what he swore with their vows.41
