Life Laugh - The Backwards Adventure - 252 - The Hole of Irony

Gordon was searching the building for data, he couldn't believe that Flavack could have done something so stupidly dangerous, he threw Flimp the flying tortoise down the message pipe.1

Rosie was running as fast as she could, she had to tell Flivick that Flavack has turned evil. She turned left in the corridor and entered a door that wasn't locked. That's when one thing caught her eye. The one thing that the doctor said would save her life. She licked her lips. It was a pork sausage.2

Gordon exited the security office, on his way out he noticed a piece of torn up paper on the floor he read "Look up, left, right, down, behind you and in front of you. Close your eyes. Can you see me? Open them and run or I will catch you!3

Gordon followed the instructions as he read them. The first thing he saw when he closed his eyes was Flivick. 5

"Run!" Screamed Flivick at the top of his voice "Run or he'll kill you just like he killed me. And tell Rosie no matter what don't eat any pork sausages she finds in the building! NOW GO!" After Flivick screamed this Gordon saw Flavack shoot him stone dead. 6

Gordon ran. He ran and ran. He ran into the Base Hole operations room. He turned round and saw Flavack already there waiting for him. Flavack was holding something. No wait... someone. Jane!!! He made a lunge for Flavack who just punched him in the face7

"You're pathetic! Y'know that don't you! For 28 Yarter Years I have been watching you getting better and better. Getting all the cases that the public are interested in. Blinjar was a fool! I was far more capable than you! That's why I killed him!" 8

Gordon was clenching his stomach in agony. Flavack can really hit someone hard!9

"I killed him in the same way I killed you! IRONY!!! This hole is the source of all irony! The closer you get to the hole the more irony there is! I am using a special drill to unleash irony everywhere! The hole of Irony! It will unleash irony all over the world!" 10

Jane could take no more of watching Gordon writhing in pain. She ran towards Flavack about to attack but ironically he turned round at that exact second and she fell onto the floor. 11

"Ha!"12

Meanwhile Rosie was about to make a grab for the pork sausage. But alas it was a test specimen. It was dipped in the Hole of Irony to see what it effect it had. It released irony itself, and Rosie had just picked it up. The sausage had ironically gone past its sell-by-date meaning that to eat it would cause severe stomach pains. Almost like the ones that Gordon was experiencing after he got punched in the stomach by Flavack. She almost ate it but was saved, ironically, by a security guard. She kneed him in the privates and ran. She ironically ran into the Base Holes operation room.
