I never really thought about what "friends forever" really implied. It seems to be just a catchy little thing you tell your girlfriends to make them feel special. "Forever" symbolized eternity, so we'd be friends until the end of the world. I believed that since I was a girl. However, those naive thoughts no longer plague me.1
