The Secret of Monkey Island - The Story Edition - Part 3 - Meanwhile

Deep beneath Monkey Island the Ghost Pirate LeChuck lies anchored in a sea of lava.1

Lechuck breathed in the the hot, dusty air. 2

"Arr" He cried as a member of his ghost pirate crew entered the room. "I love the smell of hot, molten rock burning up in a pit full of lava in the morning... it smells like... deodarant."3

"Uh... sir!" 4

"It's days like this that make you glad to be dead" LeChuck shouted obviously ignoring him. "Are you glad to be dead?"5

"Um... why yes sir. I feel so lucky that you boarded my ship, murdered me and everyone else on board! Lucky sir!"6

"Glad to hear it. Now what was it you disturbed me for." LeChuck queried7

"We seem to have a problem on Melee Island sir!"8

"Problem!? What possible problem could there be? I've got those sissy pirate's so afraid of the water they're afraid to take a bath!" LeChuck laughed at his little joke9

"Well there seems to be a new pirate in town. Actually he's a pirate wanabee. Young, inexperienced, probably nothin' to worry about! Don't know why I bothered you with it" He did know, he just wanted to get out before LeChuck reacted. "Me and the crew will see to him!"10

"Wait!" Cried LeChuck "I'll deal with him... pearonally. My plans are to important to be messed up by... amatuers!"11

There was a pause12

"Yes sir"13

And with that the crew member, Bob, left the room.
