1. Honor (Middle name Isabel-Grace)1
2. Denallie 2
3. Seventeen 3
4. Female4
5. Guarded Angel, which is a human who is supposed to die in a sacrificial way and after they are granted immortality in exchange for their service in looking after other soon-to-be-Angels. 5
6. She's around 5'7 and has black hair with blue green eyes that are extremely bright, her face and body (arms, back etc) are covered in freckles but not really dark ones. She has multiple scars over her body in places unseen from years of abuse. 6
7. She grew up with a surrogate family, her mother's sister. But she isn't aware and thinks they're immediate family. She's lived in Salem Massachusetts her entire life. When she was younger she was happy, but that ended when her Aunt is diagnosed with Cancer. Then her uncle begins to physically abuse her and that causes physiological problems in addition to an inability to really commit or show her true self to people for fear of ridicule. Her aunt was popular in high school and Iggy/Honor gets told by her aunt whenever she is home to 'act pretty or people won't like her'. Her 7
mother was an angel and her father was human.8
8. Gabriel Ashley (her guardian angel)9
9. She loves to write because she has an extremely overactive imagination, she likes to be alone, and she's always wearing a dark sweatshirt so she can pull over the hood and pretend she's alone and there's nobody around. She reads fantasy because she wants to believe there's something better out there then where she is. She can't stand her family, she hates the people around her and her school. She hates her English Lit. teacher because he always accuses her of cheating and being dishonest, she hates Disney channel for making her think when she was younger she would be happy. 10
10: She tries not to lie, but she never tells anybody what she's really thinking because her thoughts run deeper then she likes to acknowledge, there's more pain attached to her sarcastic humor and thoughts. She is extremely courageous if the occasion calls for it, but most of the time she comes off shy because she prefers the safe haven that is her head. She's pure at heart and would die for Gabriel if the occasion called for it because she's so in love with him. 11
11. As I've already stated she doesn't have faith mostly in religion but her faith in humanity is completely gone as well. She knows some people are good but she has yet to find one. When she finds out what she is supposed to do she's slightly selfish and refuses to help people who can't quote 'help themselves'. She doesn't really respect authority. She is pessimistic.12
12. She wants to go to Oxford and live in England for the rest of her life. She also wants to write for a living.13
13. She's not allowed to fall in love with Gabriel and when she finds out her destiny she runs away to New York and finds the Magic Underground which is a group of rouge witches and magical/biblical people/creatures.14
14. To be a guardian Angel 15
15. There are only two people who call her Honor and that's Gabriel and the second angel he was sent with to watch over her with Amelia.16
Also she never faces any of her problems, she doesn't acknowledge any of her pain which is why the book's called run because she runs away from her problems instead of fixing them. 17
PART 2!18
The scene where she realizes she's going to run away. When she finally sees the truth and stops denying that she's alright.19
I looked at my feet. The mirror that he broke in my father's rage reflected my face in each of it's small shards. Slowly making me see the truth. Letting it sink in I pulled down my hood. I didn't need to hide I needed to run. Run far away and never come back. 20
My face was bleeding. I went slowly and quietly into the bathroom and wash it gingerly trying not to make it hurt anymore. But the slices in my skin went farther down then just physical pain. 21
I looked up in the whole mirror and saw myself for who I truly was. An escape artist. It was time for me to do what I did best. Put on the smoke screen and make an exit. Time to run from my problems and leave them here. 22
I'm hurting and for once I'm going to admit it. 23
I needed Gabriel but he couldn't be here for me. I had myself, that would just have to do. 24
I grabbed a knapsack from my closet and stuffed blankets all my clothes and every cent I had saved for travel into it. Taking any pictures from the wall and every last book. I took my notebook and my pen. Slowly I reached for the cross that my mother had put above my bed when I was younger, the one I had never bothered to take down. I grabbed it and stuffed it in there. 25
I needed to remember her. My closet door was still open from the horrible fight, the fire escape ladder was coming from under a pile of old binders and photo albums. I grabbed it and threw it down out my window and left.26
I saw the flash of bright blue I was accustomed to by the side of the house. Gabriel stood there shock and disbelief littering his face, I suppose ever since he's known me, in all my past lives I never dared running away.27
I walked past him trying not to feel his unbearable presence or let his smell reach me. He grabbed my arm, I felt the familiar shock of lust and wanting fill me.28
"You can't stop me. You won't. It's not your job." I told him. I said looking him in the eye. 29
"I love you Honor." He murmured. I wouldn't let him stop me. "I am sorry things turned out this way." His fingers lightly brushed my cheek making sure to avoid my bruises. 30
My will is my own. He has no power over that and when he realized this he left. But not before kissing my forehead and telling me he would always watch me.31

Thank you for entering the contest 'Novels - Your Character' - I hope the contest has helped you understand your character better.

Overall, an interesting and complex character. Iggy comes across as conflicted in herself - she has a past that makes her sort of cynical when she views the rest of the world. She believes there is good in the world, but her personal experience does support that. The sample scene really illustrated this. -
I really like it. :] But then. I WOULD.LOL. I didn't realise how Emo, she is. Not as an insult of course! I mean, she actually has a reason to be Emo.LOL. This is kind of like Twilight in a way. Gabriel and stuff. :]
Applause!
